The  Bridge Course to allow or to provide degree to BAMS or Ayurved Doctors a degree of MBBS or a license to write and prescribe Modern Medicine under allopathy has come true in Maharashtra although Central Government took it back  in new NMC bill which is yet to be cleared from upper house of parliament to replace MCI by NMC under NITI AYOG.A system of quackery has been started legally in India where against orders of SC and many high courts a doctor from Ayurved will practise modern medicine. The political move of Government is sucessfull to correct doctor population ratio on paper whether patients of rural or have nots get proper treatment or get wrong or quack treatment is not concern. Those having money or power whether in rural or urban sector always consult specialist or super specialist for minor problem what to talk of grave or serious disease.Slowly Central government will adopt it for gaining browny points in media and public ignoring fact that all these politicians and bureacrats never consult such doctors for their or their family members treatment.

The first batch of around 1,000 ayurveda doctors has cleared a six-month bridge course that will allow them to provide basic treatment using modern medicine at state-run health and wellness centres (HWCs). The candidates will work as mid-level health providers (MHLP) and have received joining letters for 850 functional HWCs.Under Ayushman Bharat, the state plans to convert its 10,600 sub-centres into HWCs by 2022. At HWCs, patients can receive treatment for 12 health issues, from non-communicable diseases, mother and child health, family planning, contraceptive services to basic emergency services. The state intends to appoint an MHLP for each wellness centre that will be attached to a higher primary health centre (PHC).

While initially only ayurveda graduates were allowed to get enrolled in the bridge course, the state has now decided to allow even Unanis, BSc nursing graduates and community health degree holders for subsequent batches.Dr Anup Yadava, Commissioner (Health Services), said that the state plans to hire over 10,000 MHLPs by the year 2022. He stated that the mid-level workers will handle the epidemic of non-communicable diseases, such as hypertension and blood pressure, and ensure that these conditions are detected and treated early. With an HWC, they will have a fully functional health centre for a population of 5,000, he added. In addition to functional knowledge of pharmacology, the candidates received hands-on training of dealing with basic emergencies. The training was followed by an exit exam.

Dr Satish Pawar of National Health Mission said that around 100 candidates out of 1,250 who were trained failed to clear the exam. The results of nearly 170 are held. He said that MHLPs would prescribe basic medicines and antibiotics but under the supervision of an MBBS doctor at the PHC. Diabetes or hypertension medicines would be started by MBBS doctors but follow-ups will be handled by MHLPs.If an MHLP decides to leave the job, he/she would be expected to pay Rs 1 lakh spent on training him/her.

Government or Bureaucrats who doesnot have ABC knowledge of Modern Medicine and its nitti gitty of complex healing system think sitting in AC chambers that to prescribe medicine is the only requirement of Doctors and in modern days investiogations of blood or radiology or tissue is diagnosing everything so like computer or mobile app any body can prescribe medicine but they donot know medicine or pharmacology is one subject even these quacks donot understand complications, side effects and the way it should be prescribed along with many changes in diet, excercise and other life styles which are very important to heal the diseases. In many cases as in psychiatry counselling is only important no need of medicine and every body can prescribe medicine but hard to treat it's side effect,no effect ,reactions with other medicines or disease. No computer examination can replace clinical examination of an expert doctor ,all tele or  mobile medicine need clinical examination if disease not cured or less responding.

Such style of correcting Doctor ratio in country and making rural people foo will seriously jeopardise reputation of Medical health system of India in world which still say it is full of quacks, and many pathies which are self made and practised to earn money by making fool persons as lack scientific support,Our country earn crores foreign exchange money as some top hospitals with modern medicine doctors are treating and curing disease from whole world precisely and cost effectively not by such pump and show style of our corrupt politicians and their beloved  bureaucrats who bring such eye catching policies for being in power for long introducing quackery in our already defamed health system.
