Dr. Mangesh Tarte has started PG education & training in Diagnostic Radiology in 1999 at Pravara Institute of Medical Sciences, Rural Medical college in Maharashtra state of India.I also worked as assistant Clinical Neuroradiologist to S.P Institute of Neuroscience (SPIN) Solapur & extensively worked on Helical Spiral CT Scan & 0.35Tesla MRI Scan in 2002-2003. Joined state Govt’s Health services as class I Radiologist cum Medical officer at Govt. Medical college & General Hospitals of Miraj-Sangali-Sindhudurga. Worked as Clinical Lecturer to B.J. Medical college & David sasoon General Hospital, PG Teaching Institute –Pune in 2003- 2005.

I became Life member of ‘Indian society of Interventional Radiology (ISVIR –New Delhi) in 2005. Obtained ISVIR Fellowship & Underwent through basic training in ‘Peripheral Vascular & Non–Vascular Interventional Radiology ‘ at India’s one of the premier speciality – superspeciality teaching institute named king Edward Memorial Hospital (KEM ) Mumbai (Bombay).







Since October ‘ 2006 I settled in Ahmednagar- Middle class city & District Headquarter in Western Maharashtra. Running own clinic for Vascular Disease – ‘Antrang Interventional Center ‘ as well as attached as Honorary & Panel consultant in Noble Hospital & Research Center .Currently Practicing Endovascular Laser Ablation Surgery for varicose veins, Venography,peripheral Angiography & Therapeutics Intervention on GE –OEC 9800 DSA cathlab in Noble Hosp & Research centre – Ahmednagar. I also Visits surrounding 5-6 district places & spreading information, knowledge, awareness about Newer Hyperspecialisation in Radiology i.e Vascular Intervention (V.I.R)

CURRENT RESEARCH INTERESTS:

i ) Endovenous Laser Ablation surgery & Foam sclero-therapy for primary &
post DVT secondary varicose veins.
ii) Venous stenting & IVC Filler Deploment in chronic venous insufficiency due
to Deep venous thrombosis . (DVT )
iii) Critical limb Ischemia & Arterial Leg therepy .
iv) Peripheral Angiography,thrombolysis & stenting .
v) 4 vessel cerebral Angiography ,Neuroimaging & some sort of
Neurointervention procedures for Brain Aneurysm, AVM , Arterial & venous
thrombosis etc.
