Dr Kannan Vaidyanathan is currently in charge of this lab which is a part of Amrita Laboratory Services. He did post doctoral fellowship (DBT-PDF) at Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore; currently involved in a number of research projects and guiding 7 PhD students. Obtained APFCB International Silver Jubilee fellowship in 2007.
