STRESS AND BLACK MONEY: DR. SHRINIWAS KASHALIKAR
The governments all over the world keep on giving statistics; on the basis of their parameters; about the crimes and black money in different countries. Some of us; grieve about crimes and black money. But in general; we do not go to the roots of crimes and black money and may develop either guilt (as we too may be “criminals” and own “black” money); or helplessness (as we cannot act against these). This causes STRESS.
Should we not go to the roots of crimes and black money and stop getting bogged down by the smart and callous or the shallow and populist elements (inside and outside), which causes STRESS?
1.Let us understand; that our perspective, policies, laws, rules, conventions, traditions, motivations, urges, aspirations, ambitions, habits; in personal and social life; determine the degree to which our higher self governs our lower self. In personal life; this determines the values which we nurture and are governed by; and in society; it determines our leadership in different fields; which we adore and get governed by.
2.The degree of appropriateness of constitution, laws, rules and the expenditure of the taxes; administered by us and/or our leaders in turn; determine; the degree of justice, peace, harmony; and the honest and timely tax payment and honest tax collection; or generation of black money; and DARKER money amassed through; cheating, misguiding, swindling, stealing, exploiting, robbing, adulteration, extortion, bribing and other devious means (e.g. through laws, rules, statutes such as SEZ (Special Economic Zone) , and unjust land acquisition).
3. It is said by the immortal visionaries; that when all the spiritual, religious, philosophical, ideological and strategic efforts; are funneled into perspective, policies, plans and programs of individual and global blossoming; through NAMASMARAN (JAAP, JAP, JIKRA, SIMARAN, SUMIRAN i.e. remembrance of true self); by billions of people; the crimes and black money i.e. STRESSORS inside and outside would subside.

नामस्मरणं (जप, जाप, जिकरा, सुमीरण, सिमरन, आत्मस्मरण; धर्मांधतेचा बाजार व वडीवार नव्हे); ज्या प्रमाणात वाढेल; त्या प्रमाणात; आपल्या सर्वांच्या इच्छा, आकांक्षा, ध्येय, धोरणे, विचार, भावना, वासना, दृष्टिकोन विकसित होतील. राज्यघटना, कायदे, नियम, प्रथा, रूढी, परंपरा विकसित होतील, निर्दोष होतील. करप्रणाली, करवसुली आणि कराचा विनियोग; इत्यादी सुयोग्य होतील. असे झाल्याने कर बुडवेपणा, कर चोरी आणि काळा पैसा
कमी होईलच. पण त्याच बरोबर कुमार्गाने,लबाडीने,किंवा लाचारीने काळाकुट्ट पैसा मिळवण्याची पाळी येणार नाही अशी व्यवस्था देखील विकसित होईल.

UNITY AND STRESS: DR. SHRINIWAS KASHALIKAR
There was a notion that if we earn good money, gain political power, establish institutions, or build mass movements based on issues; they serve as instruments to bring about socioeconomic and political revolution.
But through trial and error; I realized that this could be true for others; not me.
I got withdrawn from commercial, philanthropic or political institutions or organizations; and got absorbed in the study, practice and propagation of a conceptual framework of holistic solutions; in the form of Total Stress Management, holistic renaissance, superliving or holistic health, the core of which is NAMASMARAN (JAP, JAAP, JIKRA, SUMIRAN, SIMARAN, self realization).

HOLISTIC RENAISSANCE: ILLUSION OR REALITY? DR SHRINIWAS KASHALIKAR
Is there any truth in the vision and dreams depicted in religious, philosophical and creative literature, poetry and movies and the sermons on ethics, nonviolence and obedience; given in schools, colleges and elsewhere?
Is holistic renaissance a utopia of some unusually sensitive people?
The present APPARENT scenario of the indiscriminate, malevolent, malicious and vicious violence and crimes; creates doubt about everything noble and divine!
But the divinity is hidden deep within masked by hype and our superficial perceptions. We can experience this blissful and victorious reality of holistic renaissance; through NAMASMARAN (JAAP, JAP, JIKRA, SIMARAN, SUMIRAN i.e. reorienting to our true self).
न्याय, शांतता, सम्यक उत्थान; वगैरे बाबी अती हळव्या लोकांचे स्वप्नरन्जन आहे का?
आपण नामस्मरणाच्या द्वारे ह्रुदयन्गम असे सम्यक उत्थान अनुभवू शकतो.

VIOLENCE AND GITA DR. SHRINIWAS KASHALIKAR
One of the misconceptions about Gita; is that; “Gita advocates violence”.
If we read all the 18 chapters carefully; then it would be clear that Gita considers; any activity in personal and social life conducive to forgetting of one’s immortal ‘true self’; is ADHARMA, self destruction and hence violence. The word “PRANASHYATI” is used in 6th chapter, 9th chapter and also 18th chapter; to clearly imply this meaning.
In practical life also; forgetting one’s larger self that includes father, mother, brother, sister, spouse, teacher, friend and society; is associated with overtly mean, individualistic, ungrateful, mindless, cruel, brutal, barbaric, maniacal and indiscriminate activities including self destruction and killing i.e. violence!
Hence theoretically as well as practically; any intellectual, emotional, instinctual and physical actions conducive to ‘forgetting true self’; is ADHARMA and violence.
Gita asks us to remember and focus on our immortal ‘true self’ so that our behavior remains oriented to self realization. This is called SWADHARMA. Gita teaches us to participate in; ‘DHARMYA YUDDHA’ and conquer the inner and outer forces opposing this! It is DHARMYA-not DHARMA (2.31 and 2.33). It means one, which culminates in DHARMA. DHARMA means individual and universal blossoming; and YUDDHA is struggle.
Thus; Shrimat Bhagavad Gita (the proper way to refer Gita); actually teaches, inspires, empowers and enables us; to triumphantly and victoriously conquer the pettiness, cowardice indolence, fanaticism and violence; inside as well as outside.
