By such action of  HIGH  court arresting SRM University Chancellor in Rs. 73 Cr. Medical Admission Scam or supreme court compelling MCI  to bring NEET exam this year for MBBS or PG selection or compelling Government to bring a law for NEET blocking selling of MBBS Seats for 1 ccrores and PG seats for 4-5 cores by many Pvt medical colleges which have come in large numbers to earn crores in anme of medical education with poor infrastructures,fake patients and ghost teachers recognised by tainted and corrupt MCI.SC also formed an oversight committee to regulate MCI comprising honest ex cji mr Lodha,ex cag honest mr vinod rai and Dr shiv sareen and Government wanting to replace MCI by National Medical Education forum . TR Pachamuthu, Chairman of SRM Group was arrested by the Chennai Police on allegations of duping 109 students of Rs. 73 Cr. with the promise of admission. Hw is accused alongside college admission agenda and film producer Madhan, who disappeared in May. Upon questioning by police, Pachamuthu laid all the blame on Madhan claiming he forged all documents and signatures. Pachamuthu is arrested under IPC sections 406 (criminal breach of trust), 420 (cheating), and 34 (common intention). The arrest came upon the Madras High Court questioning the police if the police due to political interest was delaying the arrest. The CBI it is also claimed conducted a raid of Madhan’s production house in 2013 and SRM Group, leading to undisclosed amounts of cash recovered. Madhan left a suicide note that went viral in social media that he was being persecuted by SRM, claiming he also wanted Samadhi in Varanasi. He also pointed out regret around crores of rupees taking from parents would not lead to admission as NEET changed the admission process. His family alleges that he gave all the collected money to Pachamuthu before disappearing. Further an associate of Madan, Vijapandiyan, and a medical doctor, Dr. Bargavan Pachamuthu were also arrested. Two Doctors in Punjab Suspended for Acting as Ghost Faculty Dr Ardaman Singh (Professor of Medicine) and Dr Ravdeep Singh (SR Forensic Department at GMC Patiala) have been ordered to face one year suspension, found to be acting as ghost faculty acting in Haryana private medical colleges. Dr. Ardaman said in a MCI hearing that he was at Patiala College during the 2014 inspection and post retirement in march he joined Kaithal College, promptly quitting and rejoining the Patiala College. Dr. Singh claimed that his name appeared twice as he was an assistant professor at the Kaithal college before joining Patiala. Unconvinced, MCI wrote to the Punjab Medical Council (PMC) towards their suspension. The doctors have challenged the MCI order in the state High Court, with one stating that his suspension was stayed. Dr. GS Grewal, PMC President stated there was no such order and similar moves against ghost faculty doctors would be undertaken, adding that it is a common practice to hire private doctors during inspection period to secure MCI recognition.
