It is a common practice throughout the country that in many private setup where Pathological report of  blood,stool, urine,sputum etc of patients are signed by persons acquiring medical laboratory expertise degree or many persons having non medical PG as M.Sc Biochemistry or Microbiology but it is illegal,all such report must be signed by a MCI Registered MBBS or PG or Diploma  degree holding in Pathology/Microbiology /Biochemistry. It has been more clear now that in very small rural setup these can be signed too by these persons also provided either such doctors are not available or or emergency condition where report is for some essential tests only.Supreme Cort and delhi high court also directed that non Mdical postgraduates can sign technical reports not medical reports as here life of a patient is in daner.

               A Dadar primarily based trail lab proprietor having MSc and PhD levels within the box of Biochemistry has been booked through the native police at the foundation of grievance filed through the Maharashtra Affiliation of Working towards Pathologists and Microbiologists mentioning the person have been signing lab studies with out keeping a recognised clinical level as in step with legislation.A case used to be registered lately in Pant Nagar police in Ghatkopar towards the landlord of a Dadar  Pathology Laboratory for offering diagnostic studies allegedly with out the signature of a licensed pathologist keeping a clinical level.
