MEDICAL SYMBOL
The image of serpents wrapped around a staff is a familiar one in the medical field, decorating pharmaceutical packaging and hospitals alike. Snakes bites are generally bad news, and so the animal might seem ill-fitting as the symbol of the medical profession, but the ancient emblem actually has a quite a story behind it.

There are actually two versions of the symbol. The winged version is known as a caduceus, andthe stick is actually a staff that was carried by the Olympian god Hermes. In Greek mythology, Hermes was a messenger between the gods and humans (which explains the wings) and a guide to the underworld (which explains the staff). Hermes was also the patron of travelers, which makes his connection to medicine appropriate because, in the olden days, doctors had to travel great distances by foot in order to visit their patients.
In one version of Hermes' myth, he is given the staff by Apollo, the god of healing . In another version, he receives the staff from Zeus, the king of the gods, and it is entwined with two white ribbons. The ribbons were later replaced by serpents, as one story tells that Hermes used the stick to separate two fighting snakes , who then coiled around his staff and remained there in balanced harmony.

Another, earlier depiction of the medical symbol is the staff of Asclepius, thought it has no wings and only one snake. The son of Apollo and the human princess Coronis, Asclepius is the Greek demigod of medicine . According to mythology, he was able to restore the health of the sick and bring the dead back to life.

In one telling, Zeus killed Asclepius with a thunderbolt for disrupting the natural order of the world by reviving the dead, while another version states that Zeus killed him as punishment for accepting money in exchange for conducting a resurrection. After he died, Zeus placed Asclepius among the stars as the constellation Ophiuchus, or "the serpent bearer."

The Greeks regarded snakes as sacred and used them in healing rituals to honor Asclepius, as snake venom was thought to be remedial and their skin-shedding was viewed as a symbol of rebirth and renewal. Which is a good thing to keep in mind the next time you spot a medical alert bracelet featuring the seemingly sinister serpents.

CYTOSORB ,A NEW FILTER OF SEPSIS OR GROSS AND SEVERE INFECTION
CYTOSORB ,A NEW FILTER OF SEPSIS OR GROSS AND SEVERE INFECTION INVENTED AND MANUFACTURED IN INDIA: A GOOD HELP FOR SERIOUS PATIENTS

Bengaluru: India’s biotechnology major Biocon and US-based CytoSorbents on Friday announced that they have entered into a strategic partnership to start CytoSorb, a novel therapy for the management of sepsis.CytoSorb is a safe and effective extracorporeal cytokine filter, designed to target the prevention or treatment of organ failure, which is the cause of nearly half of all deaths in the intensive care unit.If left unchecked, ‘cytokine storm’ caused by excessive cytokine production can cause massive inflammation, organ failure and death in common life-threatening conditions such as sepsis, burn injury, trauma, lung injury ,multiple system organ failure ,crtically ill immunocompromised patients of TB,CANCER,IABETES AND HIV. Along with good ctical caring Antibiotics ,CytoSorb is a ‘first-in-class’ therapy that can provide an effective solution to physicians to treat critically ill patients suffering from sepsis.

Rakesh Bamzai, president marketing, Biocon, said, “CytoSorb is a safe and well-tolerated innovative therapy for managing cytokine storm in critically ill patients. Very high levels of cytokines are known to cause multiple organ failure, which is often life threatening. Through CytoSorb, we offer a promising treatment option to high risk patients in their fight against sepsis and other critical illnesses.”

Unlike any other previous approach, CytoSorb attacks sepsis from multiple angles — reducing cytokine storm, reducing many deadly bacterial toxins, and directing immune cells to target the infection while avoiding damage to otherwise healthy organs. When combined with Biocon’s critical care antibiotics, it is an ideal broad spectrum strategy to fight sepsis.

Severe sepsis and septic shock are major causes of morbidity and mortality worldwide. It is a leading cause of death in non-coronary ICUs and the 11th leading cause of death overall. Over a third of patients who develop sepsis die globally, even though the best standard of care is available.

In India, more than one million estimated new cases of severe sepsis are treated in the Indian ICUs each year, accounting for one out of every four patients in the ICU. According to a recent nationwide study of Indian Intensive Care Case Mix and Practice Patterns (INDICAPS) involving over 124 ICUs across 17 states in India, mortality was found to be as high as 46 per cent in patients with septic shock and 42.2 per cent overall in septic patients, compared with 17.8 per cent mortality for ICU patients who did not develop sepsis.

He returns
He returned after two years. Last time he came for groin hernia operation on right side. Now he has returned – this time he has developed a new hernia in the left groin. He was extremely happy with the result of surgery last time and hence when he developed another hernia, he decided to come back to me again.
He flies down all the way from US. Why does he have to come to India for treatment? Simple – he has no health insurance. Health insurance in US is extremely costly. For someone like my patient who is a simple painter it is beyond his reach. Added to this is the financial recession. He had to move to a city in southern state just to get a job. Medical treatment in US without a health insurance policy is extremely costly. You can loose all your fortune if a health disaster strikes. Even if you have insurance, its difficult to get early appointment. Often patients have to wait for months to get a simple operation like that of hernia.
Groin hernia cost is almost 30 times compared to the cost that I offer. Cost for other diseases is also in same range. So flying to Mumbai plus the medical cost is still minuscule compared to fixing it in US.
US has got some of the best medical facilities. But you need money to access it. There is practically very less free treatment. Sound similar to the situation in third world. Isn't it?

Irregular Periods And Getting Motherhood with IVF
Infertility problems are increasing day by day and it is very common today. It is estimated that as many as one in six couples may experience difficulties in conceiving. It is advisable to seek specialist help if you have not been successful despite trying for 12 months.Sometimes it may be better to act sooner (for example if there is a pre-existing problem such as irregular/absent periods). Infertility problems in women may be the result of blocked tubes, ovulation disorders,STDs,or age.

Abnormalities of the hormones that control the menstrual cycle and/or abnormalities of the uterus itself can lead to absent, frequent or irregular menstrual periods. In order to successfully diagnose the cause of the abnormal menstrual periods, several tests may be suggested.Irregular periods are a common condition in women and can be caused by many things. Most of the time the irregular periods are related to a condition called “anovulation”.This is a medical term for an imbalance between the hormones of the pituitary gland, the ovaries and the hypothalamus.

Menstrual cycle disorders can cause a woman's periods to be absent or infrequent.Although some women do not mind missing their menstrual period, these changes should always be discussed with the doctor because they can signal underlying medical conditions and potentially have long-term health consequences.A woman who misses more than three menstrual periods (either consecutively or over the course of a year) should see either the doctor or the gyneacologist.

Amenorrhea or Missed Periods
The term amenorrhea is used by doctors to describe the absence of menstruation.Primary amenorrhea (in which a woman does not begin menstruating) is very rare, while secondary amenorrhea (when menstrual periods are absent for more than three to six months in a woman who previously had periods) is much more common.

Oligomenorrhea or Infrequent or Irregular Periods
Oligomenorrhea is the medical term for infrequent menstrual periods (fewer than six to eight periods per year).

The causes, evaluation, and treatment of amenorrhea and oligomenorrhea are similar.

CAUSES OF IRREGULAR PERIODS

Menstrual cycle disorders can result from conditions that affect the hypothalamus, pituitary gland, ovaries, uterus, cervix, or vagina.

Primary amenorrhea--The most common causes includes

1) Conditions that are present at birth, but may not be noticed until puberty. These conditions include genetic or chromosomal abnormalities and abnormalities of the reproductive organs (eg, if the uterus is not present or developed abnormally).

2) All of the conditions that lead to secondary amenorrhea can also cause primary amenorrhea.

Secondary amenorrhea-- Pregnancy is the most common of secondary amenorrhea. Other common causes include the following:

1} Ovarian conditions, such as polycystic ovary syndrome and ovarian failure (early menopause).

2) Hypothalamic amenorrhea. This occurs when the hypothalamus slows or stops releasing GnRH (gonadotropin releasing hormone), a hormone that influences when a woman has a menstrual period.

3) Prolactin-secreting pituitary tumors are another common cause of secondary amenorrhea.

Oligomenorrhea â€" Many of the conditions that cause primary or secondary amenorrhea can also cause a woman to ovulate irregularly (oligomenorrhea). However, most women who develop infrequent periods have polycystic ovary syndrome.

EVALUATION OF IRREGULAR PERIODS

The evaluation of amenorrhea/oligomenorrhea includes a complete medical history and physical examination.

The womans personal and medical history reveals the clues about the cause of amenorrhea.Any problems during infancy or childhood, the date of first period and its frequency and the history of irregular menstrual periods should all be accounted for.Physical examination includes the examination of the face, neck, breasts, and abdomen. A pelvic examination will also be performed.Because pregnancy is the most common cause of secondary amenorrhea, a pregnancy test is usually recommended for women whose menstrual periods have stopped. Blood tests to measure hormone levels is also recommended.

TREATMENT OF IRREGULAR PERIODS

The goal of the treatment is to correct the underlying condition. For a woman who is trying to become pregnant, restoring fertility may be another goal.

Polycystic ovary syndrome â€" Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) is a chronic condition that causes infrequent periods and an excess of androgens (male hormones).PCOS treatment is recommended to reestablish normal menstrual cycles and prevent long-term complications. For women with PCOS who want to become pregnant, hormone pills or injections are often needed to help women ovulate.Ovulation occurs in almost all women with PCOS who use gonadotropin therapy;approximately 60 percent of these women become pregnant.

Hypothalamic amenorrhea â€" Women with hypothalamic amenorrhea are sometimes able to resume normal menstrual periods after making certain lifestyle changes, such as eating a higher-calorie diet, gaining weight, reducing the intensity or frequency of exercise, and reducing emotional stress. Some doctors recommend estrogen and progestin hormone replacement (or a hormonal contraceptive, such as a birth control pill) for women with hypothalamic amenorrhea. These treatments can reduce the risk of developing osteoporosis later in life.

Ovarian failure â€" Normally,a woman stops ovulating around the age of 50;this is called menopause. If a woman stops ovulating before age 40,this is called premature ovarian failure. With most types of ovarian failure, pregnancy can be achieved using injectable fertility medications and donor eggs.

High prolactin â€" Women with amenorrhea and hyperprolactinemia can usually have normal menstrual periods and become pregnant when treated with medications under the supervision of the doctors.

Hypothalamic or pituitary conditions â€" Some hypothalamic and pituitary gland conditions that cause amenorrhea, such as a congenital deficiency of gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRH), are irreversible.

Endometrial adhesions (Asherman syndrome) â€" The doctor may recommend surgery to remove the scarred tissue, followed by estrogen treatment to stimulate regrowth of the lining.

Anatomic problems â€" Surgery is often an effective treatment if amenorrhea is caused by a blockage in the reproductive tract.

If you've skipped a period, try to relax.Restoring your life to emotional and physical balance can help. Many women miss periods now and then.Unless you are pregnant, chances are your cycle will return to normal next month.

Facing the diagnosis of infertility (the reason for which may or may not be known) is a difficult and complex task.A lack of awareness compounds the anxiety caused from the inability to conceive and the uncertainty about the future. In most cases of female infertility, doctor can do a fertility workup. Through a physical examination and tests, doctors may determine the problem. Then, treatment with medications and/or surgery or high-tech procedures may help you get pregnant.

Good news for people wanting to start family with IVF and moving first step towards the parenthood. No matter what is causing infertility, there are answers.Talk with your fertility specialist. In many cases, planning ahead and preventing female fertility problems early on can help set the stage for a healthy pregnancy.

Infertility, Sperm Banking and Cryo Bank
Today innumerous couples in the world are facing infertility disorders.Infertility disorder being one of the most common problem of young and middle-aged couples, the doctors across the globe have put in tremendous effort to find a cure for every possible infertility disorder.Sperm Banking and Sperm donation is the treatment option available to infertile couples to achieve pregnancies with the means of third party reproduction.

A sperm bank, semen bank or cryobank is a facility that collects and stores human sperm mainly from sperm donors, for the purpose of achieving pregnancies through third party reproduction, notably by artificial insemination. Sperm donated in this way is known as donor sperm.Sperm Banking is the collection, freezing (cryopreservation) and storage (cryobanking) of these healthy sperm for future use in reproduction. The sperm donated by the donor are inseminated into the female uterus to fertilize her eggs so that she conceives. In simpler words, the duty of a sperm bank is to gather, filter and dispense out the sperms. They can be just known as the middleman between the two parties, i.e. the donor and the patient.A man who wants to save sperm for future use,can do so by consulting a specialized sperm bank. One can freeze sperm for many years by storing them at -196°C in liquid nitrogen, after adding cryoprotectants to prevent the sperm from damage.

Sperm donation may be a treatment option for::

1. Single women.
2. Men who have obstructive azoospermia or who have had vasectomy previously.
3. Collection prior to IVF.
4. Men who have had radiotherapy or chemotherapy or in whom testes have been removed due to cancer/other disease.
5. Genetic/Inheritable problems in the male partner.

Sperm banking will increase your chance of being able to father a child using your own sperm.Though sperm bank is mainly used for donor insemination,it is also beneficial to use sperm bank services in following circumstances.

1. When the husband is away (working overseas or traveling), his frozen sample can be used to treat his wife.
2. When a man is exposed to high risk professions with exposure to chemicals, radiation, extreme heat, etc. it can cause sterility in men, so one can freeze their sperm.
3. When men is having variable sperm count, stored sperm can be used as a back up in infertility treatment.
4. When sperm are being retrieved surgically from the man (e.g. “MESA”, “PESA” or “TESE” procedures).
5. When the man is about to receive cancer treatment such as surgery, chemotherapy and radiation which can cause permanent sterility and infertility.
6. When the husband has situational erectile dysfunction and has difficulties collecting semen by masturbation at the time of IUI or IVF cycle.

Sperm freezing enables the female partner to continue with her reproductive schedule. Human sperms are stored in case they are needed in the future to become a father. Sperm can be stored for as long as you want, even for many years. In the future this may be very important to you. Sperm banking will increase your chance of being able to father a child using your own sperm. Many young men who did not bank their sperm before treatment regret this decision.Later in life when they wanted to have children, they found out they were infertile. Many say they wish they had consulted specialist doctors to do this.

Some frequently asked questions regarding Sperm Banking.

Is it safe to use Sperm Bank?

Yes it is very safe to use sperm bank facility.Every sperm donor is screened for sexually transmitted diseases,as well as a slew of other diseases that might affect both the health of the mother and of the child. The sperm that you get from sperm banks is safe, and it’s also of high quality in terms of the traits that the child will inherit. The entire fertilization process is also done by licensed and certified professionals.

How are the Semen Donors Tested? Are Donors Tested for AIDS? Is genetic testing done for the Donors?

The most thorough testing standards available are used.Sperm bank obtains Donor semen from carefully screened men who have undergone a rigorous medical examination, medical history and extensive testing to screen out any health problems. In accordance with established norms, all donors are tested for HIV 1 and 2,Hepatitis B and C and VDRL. Donors are screened for Thalessemia before entering the donor program.

What are the chances for Therapeutic Donor Insemination (TDI) success?

Realizing that each recipient is a unique individual with her own distinctive physical and emotional complexities, a probability of pregnancy of 40% within 3 cycles, and 75% within 7 cycles is estimated. 80% of the conceptions with Donor Semen occur within the first three cycles; 95% within six cycles. Certain biological factors for which there is no control, directly influences the success or failure of the clinical procedures.

Whether the sperm donor should be known or unknown?

It is always advisable to go for unknown donor. If the donor is friend or relative then it may create social or legal problems later on. It becomes purely in the hands of the donor whether to keep the insemination process a secret or not.

Whether to use fresh or frozen semen sample?

Success rates with frozen semen sample is almost the same as with fresh semen sample. Recent studies have shown that if the frozen samples contain a sufficient number of motile sperm, pregnancy rates with fresh and frozen samples are comparable.

Fortunately, male factor infertility no longer means a couple must forgo the experience of pregnancy and childbirth. Thanks to modern reproductive technology and sperm banks, many of these couples have the option of becoming parents by using artificial insemination.

Rotunda Sperm Bank, is one of India's largest human sperm banks and is on par with any comparable International bank. It provides the most up-to-date genetic and infectious disease tested donor semen for infertile couples as well as freezing and storage services to patients desiring to have their own semen specimens preserved for future use. Prospective parents can choose the appropriate physical characteristics from the panel of donors so that skin color, height, eye and hair color can be matched. We also have collaboration with Cryos, the world’s largest international network of sperm banks. Anonymous Caucasian sperm can be offered when required.

Basic Knowledge About IVF Treatment in India
Enjoying motherhood and to become mother is the desire of almost all women across the world. In vitro fertilisation (IVF) is just one of several techniques available to help couples with fertility problems to get pregnant. When you're trying to conceive through in vitro fertilization (IVF) you'll probably hear plenty of ideas about what you can do to boost your chances for success. When you're investing incredible amounts of time, money, and psychological capital into an IVF cycle, it's understandable that you would want to do everything in your power to make it a success.

IVF involves surgically removing an egg from the woman's ovaries and fertilising it with sperm in a laboratory. The fertilized egg, or embryo, is then placed back into the woman's womb to grow and develop into a baby. Many a times surrogate mothers services are used when the mother is not able to carry a child for her own. This process is called as Gestational Surrogacy.

Here in this article an attempt has been made to know the facts that will help one understand what is IVF all about.

1. It was in the United States when IVF was finally conceived in 1981. This medical technique has given hope to millions of couples who wanted to have babies of their own but because of natural circumstances, are unable to do so. However, the first successful procedure was made in England.

2. Today, in vitro fertilization (IVF) is practically a household word. IVF is a method of assisted reproduction in which the man's sperm and the woman's egg (oocyte) are combined in a laboratory dish, where fertilization occurs. The resulting embryo is then transferred to the uterus to develop naturally. Usually, two to four embryos are transferred with each cycle. IVF is a complex and expensive procedure and only about 5% of couples with infertility problems go for it. However, since its introduction in the U.S. in 1981, IVF and other similar techniques have resulted in more than 200,000 babies. IVF is now recognized worldwide as a non-surgical and safest infertility treatment.

3. Any embryos that is not used in first IVF attempt can be frozen for later use. This will save you money if you undergo IVF a second or third time. If you do not want your leftover embryos, you may donate them to another infertile couple, or you and your partner can ask the clinic to destroy the embryos.

4. IVF is option with any of the infertility causes such as Endometriosis, Low sperm counts, Problems with the uterus or fallopian tubes, Problems with ovulation, Antibody problems that harm sperm or eggs, The inability of sperm to penetrate or survive in the cervical mucus and An unexplained fertility problem. Actually, the IVF treatment for infertility has several stages: ovulation induction, egg harvesting, insemination and fertilization, and embryo transfer. In some rare cases, you can also select to undergo preimplantation genetic diagnosis (PGD) to check for chromosomal abnormalities.

5. Success rates for IVF depend on a number of factors, including the reason for infertility, where you're having the procedure done, and your age. Success rates decline sharply with age. For every 100 women treated aged 35 and below, 20 will get pregnant; between 36 and 38 around 15 will get pregnant; and at age 39 around 10 will get pregnant. This is because younger women tend to have healthier eggs. The rate of live births has risen from 14% in 1991 to 30% in 2010. Of the 78% of pregnancies as a result of IVF that result in a live birth, about 50% are singletons, 24% are twins and 5% are triplets or more.

6. The quality of the egg in women diminishes with the age. A woman's age is a major factor in the success of IVF for any couple. For instance, a woman who is under age 35 and undergoes IVF has a 39.6% chance of having a baby, while a woman over age 40 has an 11.5% chance. However, recently it has been found that the success rate is increasing in every age group as the techniques are refined and doctors become more experienced.

7. The cost of IVF Treatment will vary depending on where you live, the amount of medications you're required to take, the number of IVF cycles you undergo, and the amount your insurance company will pay toward the procedure. Compared to the UK and USA, IVF treatment is much economical in India, and the quality of the treatment is excellent. This is because doctor’s charge very less as compared to the developed western countries. As per international standards, IVF in India is very cost-effective and more and more foreigners are travelling to India for availing ivf treatment.

8. Stress is an important factor in IVF pregnancy. There is a lot of physical and psychological stress that one goes through in the process. This is an expensive process, thus financial stress also plays a major role.

9. Quality of the clinic and its standards is very important. Poor quality clinic with insufficient infrastructure is less likely to result in successful IVF pregnancies. Skill of the physician and his experience play a major role. The doctor has to be extremely efficient and experienced for conducting the IVF process successfully.

10. If a success is required in an ivf cycle one should avoid alcohol and tobacco, medications, lose weight and maintain BMI, avoid caffeine or control its consumption, follow balanced diet and take folic acid supplements. IVF treatment should be started early as the age plays an important role.

In spite of all the hard work and risks involved in the process, the extraordinary invention of Ivf pregnancy is simply a blessing for people who are unable to conceive through the natural method. If you are below an age of 35 and unable to conceive pregnancy, then you can try IVF for your infertility problem. The cost of IVF is moderate. With IVF, you can give birth to a healthy baby and it is estimated that about 63 percent are single babies, 32 percent are twins and 5% are triplets or more. The in vitro fertilization technique for infertility issue is safe. With IVF, there is less possibility of undergoing surgery. It is also estimated that IVF technique has lessen the rate of surgeries by half.

The end result that an IVF may bring to a couple is very rewarding. In vitro fertilization has no down side. While several complained of fatigue, dizziness and having abdominal cramps, these are only normal and could last for two days at most. Getting enough rest and engaging in less stressful activities can increase the success rate of an in vitro fertilization procedure. In spite of all the hard work and risks involved in the process, the extraordinary invention of Ivf pregnancy is simply a blessing for people who are unable to conceive through the natural method.

OSTEOARTHRITIS OF KNEE
OSTEOARTHRITIS OF KNEE

Osteoarthritis can affect any joint in the body. It is like wear and tear which develops over many years. It is common in people over 50 years of age, particularly in women. Both knees need not be affected at the same time.
The cartilage gradually roughens and becomes thin exposing the underlying bone. The wear is more common on the inner side of the knee.
Osteoarthritis of the knee joint produces:
• Bone wear leading to asymmetric shape and movements
• Weak ligaments, and
• Changes to articular cartilage and tears of the menisci.
Risk factors :
1. Sportsmen who played contact sports.
2. Previous injury to the knee.
3. Obese people with Body Mass Index>30
4. Occupations involving prolonged squatting or kneeling, carrying heavy weights regularly, repetitive strain to knees.
5. Crystal Deposits such as uric acid in the joint is a chemical risk factor and may damage the joint fast.

Symptoms: Develops slowly over several years.
*In the beginning there may be some discomfort after a long walk or exertion. *Later stages: Stiffness after rest / sitting for some time and early in the mornings.
*Swelling of the joint
*Clicks or grinding noises from joint
*As the condition progresses, pain can interfere with simple daily activities and can disturb sleep.
* Muscles may become weak and thin. *Patient may also develop bow legs or knock knees.
Treatment Options:
Treatment depends up on the stage of the OA. It cannot be cured at once but one should not consider this as a disease. We can slow down the progression of the disease and to make life more comfortable:
• Knee Supports/Braces – Some splints provide pain relief with external support but can be uncomfortable to wear
• Assistive Devices – Such as cane or walker can be used to help in walking
• Medications – To control pain and to nourish cartilage (dietary supplements).
• Topical Creams/gels - Topical creams provide an alternative to oral medications.

• Heat and Cold Treatments - Local application of heat or cold can help with relief from pain and inflammation after exercise.
• Weight Loss - Weight loss can have a significant effect on slowing the disease progression.
• Exercise Program - A specific exercise program can help to maintain healthy cartilage and range of motion of the joint. In addition, keeping the attaching muscles and tendons conditioned and strong will aid in the joint's stability. If exercising is difficult, hydrotherapy may be useful to reduce the stress on the joints.
• Viscosupplementation - A ‘joint lubricant’ can be administered as an injection. This substance helps to lubricate and nourish the knee joint and can decrease the amount of inflammation.
• Arthroscopy – This procedure takes care of locking symptoms.
• Knee Replacement Surgery- Has proven it’s place and is hugely successful all over the world in relieving the symptoms from advanced osteoarthritic knees.

Exercise Program:
1. Heel slides: sit or lie on your back and gradually bend your knee by sliding the heel on the mattress.

2. Static quadriceps exercises: Sit with your legs straight and keep a rolled towel under your knee. Press the knee against the towel while tightening the thigh muscles. Hold this for count of 5 to 10.

3. Hamstring strengthening exercises: Sit with your legs straight and keep a rolled towel under your heel. Press the heel against the towel while pressing the knee to the ground. Hold this for count of 5 to 10.

4. Hamstring stretching exercises: Sit on a chair with your back straight. Lift the foot up by pulling it towards you and straighten the knee. Hold this for count of 5 to 10.

NOTE: Each exercise should be repeated atleast 10- 20 times and should be done within your pain limits.

improvement in medical education system.
To

Honorable Minister Sibal,Shri Kapil,

Ministry of HRD ,

India.

Respected Sir,

I am an Adolescent health counselor.

I am the mother of 2 school children –one in 10th and other in 7th.

It’s a welcoming option of abolishing 10th std board exam which is boldly announced in India for the first time.
Our education system needs reforms since the population is high and the potential of our Indian students are also high.
Our Indian brain capacity, working quality, ability to cope with other people and educational quality makes us to enter any country and survive.
Our kids of this time are put under great pressure for the population eligible for examination entry is enormous and the need to win the race is great.

The parents are also struggling hard to keep their children in the race and make them a winner.

The engineering education system is well updated and the number of seats increased as per the population need. The children find it easy to enter the engineering colleges since its more in numbers.

I am writing this letter to share with you the need for improvement in medical education system.

If we see the Daily papers there are at least 2 advertisements by centers inviting for “Study MBBS in Russia, China, “

The charges are not less than 4 lakhs per year. I find there are many parents who send their children getting loan from bank and with great difficulty by lending money from private lenders pledging their life.

The population of India is going high and we need more doctors proportionally.

The medical seats are like brides who can be threatened and tortured for dowry in the marriage market.

1. Why nothing is done all these years to change this selection system?
2. Are our politicians unaware of these malpractices going on in our educational system?
3. Why the numbers of medical seats are not increased over years according to the population hike and the eligible student’s number?
4. Why the government is keeping its eyes closed to the hijacking of our students to different countries with the attraction of good degrees like MBBS, MD etc.
5. The master degree candidate is paying in lackhs to obtain the seat in India while the foreign countries give MD as a starting degree for comparatively lesser money for which our students are attracted. The qualification is ignored for the sake of money value.
6. Why not our country opens more scope for medical education so that we will have more doctors to take care of our growing India?
7. Open more colleges and make more seats available and the parents are willing to pay the expenses for the education of their children instead of sending them to far off countries .They pay more money to see their children to be educated scholars and why not we have them here in our mother land. Let they spend the money here in India and earn a degree working with our people and develop expertise with our disease pattern instead of coming from foreign countries learning that countries needs.
8. The money spent on these students is made worthy when we have them as Indian doctors trained in India. We don’t want our children to come back as foreigners to our India without knowing our disease pattern.
9. Let the politicians, middle man and college administration staffs leave the good children of India to learn what they want with free will and ambition so that the future India becomes a learned country and not bribed by the greedy intruders.
10. Money is nice when earned but not by selling the worthiness of our precious India.
11. Let us all work to improve the quality of India!

Thank you for the constructive 100 days projects taken by the new independent government.

Congratulations!

Hypnotherapy in sexual dysfunction
Hypnotherapy in sexual dysfunction

This is how you have
hypnotherapy !
1. You are totally aware of your surroundings; remember everything and you are the one performing the therapy.

2. You are not put under sleep or sedation.

3. You are guided to enter your subconscious mind and work for your mind health.

4. You are guided to visualize the issue and directed to find the origin of the issue in your past.

5. You are given different techniques to heal the memory /thought forms which make you behave in this particular pattern with sexual dysfunction etc…

6. You are instructed to analyse the problem or behaviour of yours from its origin and guided to reframe /restructure the behaviour and memory in that subconscious mind state to a constructive positive and productive habit.

7. Self assertion is done after healing the weak organ of sexuality in the energy level, mind and positive attitude implanted in the subconscious mind for complete cure. This is to work as the framework on which the mind works to health in future.

8. Healing is done to related issues identified by your own mind at that moment and you are brought back to the normal conscious level.

9. Walk with light heart and happy mind to face the new world with confidence and joy.

10.This will reduce the treatment time and medicine intake.
For many clients one session is enough to get the healing process to begin. But we recommend 1 to 4 sessions for an issue for complete care.
Details of other treatment methods avialable in our centre

Grief/guilt/stress therapy with Hypnotherapy
Grief therapy with Hypnotherapy
Support for Grieving and Bereavement
Losing someone or something you love is very painful. After a significant loss, you may experience all kinds of difficult and surprising emotions, such as shock, anger, and guilt. Sometimes it may feel like the sadness will never let up. While these feelings can be frightening and overwhelming, they are normal reactions to loss. Accepting them as part of the grieving process and allowing yourself to feel what you feel is necessary for healing.
There is no right or wrong way to grieve — but there are healthy ways to cope with the pain. You can get through it! Grief that is expressed and experienced has a potential for healing that eventually can strengthen and enrich life.
What is grief?
Grief is a natural response to loss. It’s the emotional suffering you feel when something or someone you love is taken away. You may associate grief with the death of a loved one – and this type of loss does often cause the most intense grief. But any loss can cause grief, including:
A relationship breakup –love failure
Death of a loved one
Survivors of suicide and their friends
A miscarriage
Loss of health
Losing a job
Loss of financial stability
Death of a pet
Loss of a cherished dream
A loved one’s serious illness
Loss of a friendship
Loss of safety after a trauma
The more significant the loss, the more intense the grief. However, even subtle losses can lead to grief. For example, you might experience grief after moving away from home, graduating from college, changing jobs, selling your family home, or retiring from a career you loved.
When to seek professional hypnotherapy help for grief?
Feel like life isn’t worth living
Wish you had died with your loved one
Blame yourself for the loss or for failing to prevent it
Feel numb and disconnected from others for more than a few weeks
Are having difficulty trusting others since your loss
Are unable to perform your normal daily activities
Hypnotherapy sessions help you in loss/death of a loved one
1.You are totally aware of your surroundings; remember everything and you are the one performing the therapy.
2.You are not put under sleep or sedation.
3.You are guided to enter your subconscious mind and work for your mind health
4.You are guided to visualize the grief oriented subject (person lost) and communicate about the grief and pain of separation.
5.You are guided to request for energy transfer between both and ask for forgiveness and forgive wherever applicable.
6.Give him/her a healing from white light and help him/her enter white light which is the abode he/she have to reach after death.
7.Feel that you are no longer feeling the intense suffering but are happy and contented that you have done justice- what is needed for the departed soul.
8.You are relieved that you have sent him/her in to white light safely and calmly with heart filled love and care.
9.You are sure to feel positive that he/she is safe in his/her journey and evolution since you communicated with him/her and gave him/her the best path possible on earth.
10.This gives the foolproof method of giving a send off to the diseased loved one among many of the rituals on earth. This is the one you are doing with full conscious and subconscious participation.
11.Return to conscious world with satisfaction and assertion that you are going to live the life and evolution of yourself with the blessing and guidance of the loved one departed from earth with light heart.
12.Talk for years about the feeling you felt when you met your loved one and of the interactions you shared during the hypnotherapy with satisfied feeling and not with grief.
13.Share with your friend and family the benefit of mind oriented haling by hypnotherapy and ask them to experience one for themselves.
