A HOLISTIC PRESCRIPTION:DR. SHRINIWAS KASHALIKAR
A HOLISTIC PRESCRIPTION:DR. SHRINIWAS KASHALIKAR

As we go on evolving; we begin to appreciate that a doctor’s prescription has to be HOLISTIC. It has to be aimed at healing an individual as well as a society; because; the health of an individual affects the health of a society; and the health of a society in turn; affects the health of an individual.

But this is not all!

The prescription can be holistic only if, it ensures complete and permanent health!

What is this complete and permanent health?

The complete and permanent health is actually an experience of ever effulgent benevolent bliss and vitalizing vitality! In other words; this is a state where there is no trace of pain, fear, worry, anxiety, insecurity, frustration, indolence, apathy, indifference, agitation, jealousy, hatred, viciousness, anguish, vindictiveness, revengefulness, selfishness, meekness, possessiveness and so on!

Hence ideally; the prescription should include all the guidelines about the preventive, curative and rehabilitative measures; applicable to; an individual’s health and also to; the health of a society. Thus the instructions should include all the international, national, regional and local policies, plans and programs; in every field of life!

This is especially essential as; the patient may be a lay person; medical student, a medical teacher, a practicing doctor, a paramedic. He or she may be even a policy maker, a leader or a health minister. He or she may be a scientist, a philosopher, a writer, an artist, whose thoughts, feelings, instincts and behavior influence; directly or indirectly; the international, national, regional and local policies, plans and programs in education, agriculture, industry, health care. All these are crucial determinants of the health of the society. The health of the society in turn; influences the health of an individual!
However; if we aim to include all such details in a prescription, then it would be impractical. A doctor is usually not trained in holistic health, holistic medicine and holistic medical practice. Moreover; even if a doctor is very well trained; and can include all such details, it would be extremely time consuming and the prescription would too huge!

In such a situation; how can we make a prescription holistic without having to train the doctors in holistic medicine? How can we make a prescription holistic, without having to write all the details? How can we make a prescription without spending excessive time? How can we make prescription holistic without making the prescription clumsily big and difficult for the patient; to read, understand and comply with?

The answer to this question is; to add an essential core to every prescription!

What kind of essential core?

The essential core should be such that it would add the holistic essence and make the prescription a holistic one! The criteria of such an essential core are;

1. It should nurture and evolve all the levels of consciousness.
2. It should be safe.
3. It should be noninvasive.
4. It should not involve technicality.
5. It should not involve skills e.g. singing.
6. It should not involve intellectual labor.
7. It should not involve learning a new language.
8. It should be inexpensive for the participants.
9. It should be acceptable to all cultures.
10. It should require minimum of classroom training
11. It should not interfere with daily routine.
12. It should be easy for compliance.
13. It should be accessible even to the individuals with handicaps such as physical, visual, auditory, vocal and so on.
The essential core of a holistic prescription that fulfills all the above criteria and is practiced across the cultures for millennia; is called NAMASMARAN, the synonyms of which are JIKRA, SUMIRAN, SIMARAN, JAP and JAAP.
The concept of NAMASMARAN actually involves remembering the true self; as NAMA actually implies the true self. Remembering the NAMA is actually trying to reorient and reunite with one’s true self; because; this true self is usually inaccessible to one’s thinking, feeling and sensing!
This true self or innate core of an individual is traditionally referred to; as God or omniscient, omnipotent and omnipresent eternal truth.
From physiological point of view; NAMASMARAN involves:
1. Gradual central anchorage, control, regulation, progress, evolution and sublimation of the belligerent infatuations, whims, fancies, ideas, thoughts, feelings and instincts.
2. NAMASMARAN heals us by rectifying our physical needs, passions, feelings, motivations, thoughts; and vision (perspective) and behavior.
3. This is characterized by victory of over the dualities of thoughts, emotions and passions. But it does not stop here. There is triumphant ascent through the opposing nervous activities (e.g. sympathetic and parasympathetic), opposite thoughts, antagonistic emotions, conflicting passions; contra posed motivations and even the duality of anabolism and catabolism!
4. Later the NAMASMARAN is associated with the realization of being one, with the immortal and true self.
5. This is a difficult to conceive; as we are entrained to believe our beginning and end; in the end of our body. Moreover; the fact that we are immortal; is only experienced by only few; and we have no experience of it. Hence not only world consensus; but even the world literature in general; including scientific; does not uphold the idea of immortality.
6. Lastly; this is a protracted journey, but the most appropriate one! Moreover; while the other components of a prescription ensure prevention, cure and rehabilitation in concrete manner; NAMASMARN ensures immortality! It is not concrete. It is not tangible. It is abstract! But what can be a more successful culmination than the state of immortality; of preventing, preempting or treating any disease?
7. NAMASMARAN is traditionally practiced for millennia and is centered on this state of immortality called Sat (True, Eternal) Chit (Vital, Living) Anand (Bliss); and normalizes the responses to internal and external stressors as one of the many byproducts. Hence it is safe as well as sure. It would prove to be central and crucial to a prescription; in preventing, preempting, or treating hundreds of other diseases and ailments; in terms of not either annihilating them, or overpowering and conquering; and thus getting freed from their sinister spell!

Learn more about endometriosis at Indira IVF
Endometriosis is a painful, chronic disease that affects more than 176 million women (and their families) worldwide. It occurs when tissue like that which lines the uterus (tissue called the endometrium) is found outside the uterus -- usually in the abdomen on the ovaries, fallopian tubes, and ligaments that support the uterus; the area between the vagina and rectum; the outer surface of the uterus; and the lining of the pelvic cavity. Other sites for these endometrial growths may include the bladder, bowel, vagina, cervix, vulva, and in abdominal surgical scars. Less commonly they are found in the lung, arm, thigh, and other locations.

Endometriosis can cause painful periods, persistent pain in the pelvic area, infertility, and other symptoms. The symptoms can range from mild to severe. Treatment options include painkillers, hormone treatments, and surgery with laparoscope.

Learn in detail about the laparoscopic surgery treatment of endometriosis at http://indiraivf.com/services/laproscopy-hysteroscopy/

Endometriosis is difficult to understand and there are no specific causes which lead to endometriosis. Doctors do not know what causes endometriosis – there may be several causes. From a woman’s perspective, endometriosis is a disease surrounded by taboos, myths, delayed diagnosis, hit-and-miss treatments, and a lack of awareness, overlaid on a wide variety of symptoms that embody a stubborn, frustrating and for many, painfully chronic condition. It affects these women during the prime of their lives and through no personal failing in lifestyle choices. These women’s physical, mental, and social well-being is impacted by the disease, potentially affecting their ability to finish an education, maintain a career, with a consequent effect on their relationships, social activities, and in some cases fertility. About half of women with endometriosis will also suffer from pain associated with sexual intercourse.

These women’s access to timely diagnosis and treatment should not be impacted by the myths and misconceptions that are, unfortunately, prevailing at large.
Let’s discuss here the Myths, Misconceptions and the Facts about endometriosis.

1. Severe pain during period is normal. MYTH

The nature and intensity of the pain associated with endometriosis can vary. Pain might be intermittent or continuous in nature, usually occurring before and during menstruation, and during or after sexual activity. The location and level of pain may not always directly relate to the extent of visible endometrial growths. Some women with extensive visible endometrial growths may be entirely pain free, while others with a few small growths experience severe pain.
Even though attitudes towards women improved during the twentieth century, some of the old beliefs still linger unconsciously, and affect the medical profession’s attitudes towards women’s complaints, including period pain. As a result, while seeking help for their period pain, many women with endometriosis are told that their (severe) period pain is normal and is part of being a woman or it is in their head. Others are told that they have a low pain threshold, or are psychologically inadequate. Many women and girls do experience pain at the time of their period. However, severe pain that interferes with daily life is not normal, and is often due to the presence of an underlying condition, such as endometriosis. Any girl or woman with severe period pain should be investigated to determine the cause of her pain.

2. Endometriosis occurs exclusively in women of reproductive age. MYTH

3. Hormonal treatments cure endometriosis MYTH

4. Pregnancy cures endometriosis MYTH

5. Endometriosis means infertility MYTH

6. Hysterectomy cure endometriosis MYTH

Read the detailed article on Myths and Misconceptions prevailing in the society about endometriosis and educate yourself about the same at https://indiraivf.wordpress.com/2015/03/18/myths-about-endometriosis

No one is certain what causes endometriosis, although researchers believe that genetics, a dysfunctional immune system, hormones, and environmental factors may all play a part in it. According to the Endometriosis Foundation, a woman (or girl) with a mother who has endometriosis is seven times more likely to have the disease herself.

If you’ve suffered with endometriosis for any length of time, chances are you’ve had plenty of advice from people, and chances are that only few of them were helpful. One of the many problems with being an endometriosis sufferer is that people keep on giving opinions which they feel need to share with you despite the fact that at times they also does not know what they talk. At this point it is necessary to keep all old wives tales aside and seek the intervention of Endometriosis specialist. Educating yourself and others about endometriosis is an empowering endeavour and, if you suffer from endometriosis, a necessity. The more you know, the stronger you are, know the evidence, uncover the truth, and ignore the bullshit.

POSITIVE THINKING: DR. SHRINIWAS KASHALIKAR
POSITIVE THINKING: DR. SHRINIWAS KASHALIKAR

There is an ongoing process of individual consciousness being dissolved into cosmic consciousness. This is called holistic evolution. The fact that holistic evolution is an ongoing process is a great reassurance to all of us!

We the individuals are actually the indivisible parts of cosmic consciousness. But as we are oblivious to it; we are rendered isolated from this “whole” the cosmic consciousness! This isolation deprives us of the supply of vitality and wholesomeness! Moreover; being in isolation; we enter into conflict with the “whole”; the cosmic consciousness; even as we are only part of it! This conflict makes us restless!

Those who are one with the “whole”; guide, inspire and empower us to reestablish our oneness with the “whole” through the universally acceptable and practicable process of NAMASMARAN!

What is NAMASMARAN?

It is remembering the name of God.

What is God?

God is actually the same as cosmic consciousness or the “whole” that simultaneously occupies our internal and external universe!

NAMASMARAN is the opposite of being oblivious to God, the “whole”; the cosmic consciousness i.e. the true self!
In other words; being oblivious to true self is the root cause of stress and being in NAMASMARAN is; being one with the “whole” in harmony; and conquering the stress!
Interestingly; the true self of ours is not accessible to our ordinary and superficial states of consciousness and that is why we are isolated, we are in conflict and we are in stress! This is why and this is how; our “ego” is conflict with our true self; and NAMASMARAN is the freedom from the “ego” and freedom from the conflict! Hence it is the panacea for stress!

Hence; a firm conviction and latter the experience of the victorious power of NAMASMARAN is the key to true and holistic positive thinking!

In absence of this; we remain shackled in our ego and in conflict with “whole”! Our attempts towards positive thinking are born out of ego; and remain subjective, feeble, unrealistic and hence pathetic! Alternatively; “our positive thinking” is actually heinous and fanatic and is viciously “negative” to the majority!

GUILT AND NAMASMARAN: DR. SHRINIWAS KASHALIKAR
GUILT AND NAMASMARAN: DR. SHRINIWAS KASHALIKAR

One of the experiences of NAMASMARAN is being aware of our shortcomings. This awareness is full of guilt and it is nagging. Contrary to being pleasant; it is painful and frustrating! It appears as if we are retrogressing instead of progressing; because of NAMASMARAN.

But if we consider the healing of a wound, then we would realize that just as itching is intense, when the wound is healing, similarly we develop agonizing sense of guilt for every crime, blunder, mistake or even error; when we are actually getting chastised!

This is usually followed by the appreciation of God’s hand behind everything in our life as well as the life of others and hence; unconditional acceptance of our selves and the others!

Such acceptance triggers the fountain of healing ambrosia to spurt from the depths of our hearts and is coupled with empowering reassurance to us as well as the others! In deed this is pleasant; incomparably pleasant!

This is victoria interna i.e. the internal victory or NAMAVIJAY!

Womb for Rent in India at Blossom IVF Centre in South Gujarat
Surrogacy is a form of assisted reproductive treatment (ART) in which a woman carries a child in her uterus on behalf of another person or couple. A surrogacy arrangement or surrogacy agreement is the carrying of a pregnancy for intended parents. A surrogate mother is someone who conceives, carries and gives birth to a child for another person or couple (intended parents or commissioning parents). The surrogate mother agrees to give the child to that person or couple after the birth. Intended parents may seek a surrogacy arrangement when either pregnancy is medically impossible or pregnancy risks present an unacceptable danger to the mother's health. Monetary compensation may or may not be involved in these arrangements. If the surrogate receives compensation beyond reimbursement of medical and other reasonable expenses, the arrangement is considered commercial surrogacy; otherwise, it is referred to as altruistic. The legality and costs of surrogacy vary widely between jurisdictions, sometimes resulting in interstate or international surrogacy arrangements.

There are two main types of surrogacy, gestational surrogacy and traditional surrogacy. In gestational surrogacy, the pregnancy results from the transfer of an embryo created by in vitro fertilization (IVF), in a manner so the resulting child is genetically unrelated to the surrogate. Gestational surrogates are also referred to as gestational carriers. In traditional surrogacy, the surrogate is impregnated naturally or artificially, but the resulting child is genetically related to the surrogate.

Learn in detail about what is surrogacy, surrogacy law and surrogacy cost at http://www.blossomivfindia.com/pages/gestational-surrogacy-india

Who can opt for surrogacy procedure?

Surrogacy may be appropriate, if you have a medical condition that makes it impossible or dangerous to achieve pregnancy & to give birth, which includes

• Absence or non-development of womb
• Recurrent IVF Failure (implantation failure) OR recurrent miscarriages
• Intrauterine adhesions
• Life threatening medical conditions involving heart, liver or blood diseases, in which pregnancy is contraindicated.

For any surrogacy arrangement there needs to be intended parents, surrogate mother, egg donor and the sperm donor as the case may be. If either of the parent is not able to contribute his sperm or her egg then the help of the donor will be taken. Surrogate mothers role is very important and crucial in the whole process of surrogacy. Due care and search must be taken before selecting a surrogate mother.

Surrogacy clinics in India have very meticulous and stringent criteria for choosing a surrogate. The surrogates have to meet certain conditions like

1. The surrogates are between the age of 21-35 years.

2. Indian Surrogates are married with previous normal deliveries and healthy babies.

3. Screened thoroughly for infectious diseases like Hepatitis B, Hepatitis C, HIV, VDRL and genetic conditions. A complete investigation is done into the medical history, blood transfusion history of the surrogate, and her family’s medical history is examined. The surrogate must have a normal obstetric history (no miscarriages, no antenatal, intranatal and postnatal complications in previous pregnancies). A detailed pelvic sonography is done and other tests for uterine receptivity are done to ensure maximum chances of success.

4. Surrogates in India are screened for thalassemia, too.

5. Indian Surrogates are checked for any addictions or substance abuse.

Most of the surrogates are married and have children. However, for some exceptional cases, there are few who are widows and have children and are willing to do surrogacy. This is done on the requirement of certain clients whose country’s laws allow easier return of the baby with the intended parents if the child is born to a surrogate mother who is single.

Going for surrogacy is a very big decision. It involves lot of ethical, moral, and also financial issues. This is the reason you need to be very careful while taking a step ahead in choosing surrogates. The surrogacy is a very expensive process too. But for your knowledge there are also affordable surrogacy options available in many places. There are few countries where the cost of surrogacy is not that high as it is in some countries. So those who are willing to go for affordable surrogacy can think of surrogacy abroad.

India has become the top international surrogacy destination for couples and even single men and women who have not been able to have children through natural means. The success of the procedure in India, is greatly attributed to the cutting edge technology adopted by the fertility clinics in India, highly qualified fertility specialists, social acceptance of surrogacy, and low cost of surrogacy, all leading to India’s high success rate in gestational surrogacy.

Know from the couples who have opted for surrogacy themselves about their lifetime experience at http://www.blossomivfindia.com/pages/surrogacy-india

Commercial surrogacy is legal in India, as recognized by the Supreme Court of India in 2002. Now we can say that India is one among the emerging country as a leader in international surrogacy and fertility. Indian surrogates have been increasingly popular with fertile couples in industrialized nations because of the relatively low cost. Indian clinics are at the same time becoming more competitive. Surrogacy is cheaper in India than any other western world. Surrogacy is an expensive process and lots of monetary and emotional values will be attached to it. Hence before deciding to opt for surrogacy you need to take many considerations in mind so that the decision is not regrettable.

The cheaper availability of surrogates in India is attracting a lot of interest. While not just the ease of the rules but also cost that is incurred here is something that is quite tempting. Surrogacy programs in India are as successful as any other good program in the world, with strict screening of egg donors and confidentiality maintained. Low cost surrogacy in India makes it possible even for couples who are not super-rich, to start a family. Surrogacy abroad in India has become the favorite destinations for couples from USA, UK, Australia, Israel and other countries because of the low cost of surrogacy treatment and easy Indian laws relating to surrogacy.

TWO DOUBTS: DR. SHRINIWAS JANARDAN KASHALIKAR
TWO DOUBTS DR. SHRINIWAS JANARDAN KASHALIKAR

When we come to know about news of rape or murder, we wonder; how God can be responsible for such heinous acts!

When we are in agonies of physical pains we wonder; how we can be grateful to God for keeping us in pains!

The element of DOUBT is because of our subjectivity! Indeed; till we are in our restrictive and subjective state; we think and feel erroneously!

God or NAMA is a trans-temporal and trans-physiological; objective state of experience, beyond every kind of subjectivity!

At some point in the process of NAMASMARAN it becomes clear that there is no solution to erroneous perceptions; just as there is NO way to quench our thirst by a mirage!

NAMASMARAN is essentially a process of merging or rather becoming NAMA or God; and therefore does not involve solutions to erroneous perceptions; but ends the erroneous perceptions and the search for their solutions!

Let us pray; therefore that God empowers us to practice NAMASMARAN for nothing else but for the sake of NAMA only!

VALUE EDUCATION AND NAMASMARAN: DR. SHRINIWAS JANARDAN KASHALIKAR
VALUE EDUCATION AND NAMASMARAN: DR. SHRINIWAS JANARDAN KASHALIKAR

Student:
Sir, Why don’t you emphasize on value education; instead of NAMASMARAN?

Teacher:
In general; the values are inculcated through an interaction between; our innate core and what we see, hear and experience! Hence exposure to universally accepted values is useful; in as much as exposure to universally condemned values is harmful.

The idea of value education rightly aims at blossoming of the students along with the teachers! Blossoming essentially involves the opportunity and assistance to grow from within and bloom! But every individual has different personality with different qualities. Every individual has different family background; different socioeconomic condition; different culture and different political atmosphere. Every individual is different in several other respects; such as geographic and historical backgrounds also!

Considering this; it is obvious that the values have to be adopted with their relative feasibility! NO value is an absolute truth!

In such a scenario; the efforts to “impart” certain values; with uniformity; can be in conflict with one’s culture, religion, ideology, race, and nation and amounts to regimentalization!! It is subtly coercive and dictatorial.

If I possess a value that is condemned or if I dispossess a value, which glorified, I may develop guilt complex and conversely; if I possess a value that is adored and don’t possess a value that is condemned, then I may begin to feel proud and arrogant, which in both cases; is unhealthy!

There cannot be dictates and/or a blue print for blossoming!

NAMASMARAN, which is like water, oxygen or electricity, stimulates inner growth and development; and grooms the potentials; without arbitrary commandments. It helps us to grow naturally so as to break the shell nonviolently and get freed; from the “egg of ego” we are otherwise confined to! It sets us free from our pettiness and sectarianism, which are the basic cause of discord, antipathy and strife, in side as well as outside!

Hence I prefer NAMASMARAN; to value education and prefer to practice, promote and emphasize NAMASMARAN; in fact; to everything else!!

Male Infertility – IVF IUI Procedure – Male reproductive system
Male infertility refers to the inability of a male to contribute to conception with a fertile female. Infertility has traditionally been thought of as a woman's problem, but as it turns out, men don't get off that easily. About one out of every three cases of infertility is due to the man alone, and men are somehow involved in infertility about half the time. A diagnosis of male infertility can be one of the hardest challenges a man can face. For some, it can be devastating. Not being able to father a child can make a man feel like he’s failing at one of his most primal responsibilities.

Advances in male infertility treatment offer real help to the males to become fathers. Male infertility is due to low sperm production, misshapen or immobile sperm, or blockages that prevent the delivery of sperm. Hormonal problems, illnesses, injuries, chronic health problems, lifestyle choices and other factors can play a role in causing male infertility. Not being able to conceive a child can be stressful and frustrating, but a number of male infertility treatments are available like surgery, medication, IUI, IVF and ICSI.

Learn about all treatments and options for male and female infertility at http://www.rupalhospital.com/infertilitytreatmentformaleandfemale.html

Lifestyle factors affect fertility. As most lifestyle factors can be modified, providing advice and support in making healthy lifestyle changes can promote fertility. The evidence relating to the effects on fertility of caffeine, alcohol consumption and smoking are discussed here. Recent Male Infertility study suggests some new facts which are must read and interesting for anyone trying to get pregnant or start creating family.

A prospective dad must consider his health as important in the journey of parenthood. The biggest cause of infertility in men is abnormal sperm. Sperm can be affected by lifestyle factors such as smoking, drinking alcohol, taking drugs, exposure to chemicals, caffeine consumption and lack of exercise and balanced diet.

Mobile phones kept in pockets of trousers

Use of laptops on the lap

Lifestyle factors and modern technology plays a massive role on sperm production and has played a major role in male infertility. The use of laptops on the lap and mobile phones in the trousers pockets are considered to be playing with male fertility. To know the impact and effects of laptops on lap, mobile phones in the pockets and lifestyle factors on sperm reduction and male infertility read the whole article at https://rupalhospital.wordpress.com/male-infertility

Even barring all the scientific evidence, it simply makes sense that laptops, cell phones and other wireless technology can impact the human body once you understand that your body is bioelectric. When you are trying to conceive, it's always better to play it safe. The researchers who conducted the study recommend that men who want to be fathers should work with their laptop on a desk or table, rather than on their lap and avoid the use of cell phones with Bluetooth devices and avoid keeping it in pockets trousers.

When faced with the problem of not conceiving, it is always better to seek the assistance of the doctor. The doctor will help you determine the cause of any fertility problems you may have and at the same time you can discuss the treatments available to increase your chances of conceiving. Your doctor may refer you to a fertility specialist at a fertility clinic.
