DOUBTS ABOUT NAMASMARAN: DR. SHRINIWAS KASHALIKAR
DOUBTS ABOUT NAMASMARAN: DR. SHRINIWAS KASHALIKAR

NAMASMARAN, is a fundamental and universal solution (other solutions being adjuvant) for the perceptible transition from individual and universal problems; to individual and universal blossoming.

In rigid and unquestioning body consciousness; we can be callous and oblivious to the pain of others. We can be “happy” and “stoic” and free of doubts; whether we practice NAMASMARAN or not; till; we ourselves are not inflicted; or are in tribulations.

But doubts creep in our mind; due to sensitive and inquisitive body consciousness; manifesting into our genuine concern; for the sectarian and piecemeal approaches and policies; revolving around petty perspectives, thoughts and vested interests; in various (political, social, economic, medical, industrial, agricultural, educational and even ‘religious and spiritual’) fields; to everyone’s detriment.

We cannot be happy and fulfilled from anything else; other than self realization, that is freedom from the overwhelming impact of body consciousness. This is true liberation or mukti or Nirvana; and is coupled with universally beneficial policies and their actual implementation in all the fields of life.

If NAMASMARAN is meant for mere ‘self realization’ and not for social revolution; then how can merging in NAMASMARAN completely; be cosmic self, the reflection of which is the universe and society? Hence there cannot be any individual liberation without the actual reflection (the details of which may vary) in personal and social life.

All the ideas and pursuits of “personal” liberation; without tangible changes in environment; are petty and actually counterproductive. But the feeling of personal liberation in absence of such changes; is theoretically possible; as nothing is impossible! The concerned individual himself or herself; has to decide; whether he/she is; on the way of liberation or actually liberated; or is callous and in self deception.

Doubts about NAMASMARAN creep in mind; because of the agonies of the burning problems of the people; at global to local levels; in as much as the doubts spurt by our physical pains, financial crisis, and humiliation in personal life. There is no disagreement and no denial; that this is due to the body consciousness.

NAMASMARAN, is inseparable from globally beneficial perspective, policies, plans and programs, to be evolved by the leaders in different fields, and their meticulous implementation by the masses; and thereby; the successful individual and universal blossoming in actual day to day life.

All this can be disproved by their own examples; if self realized people, having nothing to do about society and have no influence on the society whatsoever; bring forth other evidences of their self realization

STRESS, AND KULADEVATA (THE FAMILY DEITY): DR. SHRINIWAS KASHALIKAR
STRESS, AND KULADEVATA (THE FAMILY DEITY): DR. SHRINIWAS
KASHALIKAR

One of the varieties of STRESS is; one that results from severance from the habitat or childhood atmosphere. In our life this STRESS results because of being away from our native place, family members, and childhood friends and often neglected or ignored but important entity called KULADEVATA i.e. family deity.

Most of us belonging to the Hindu way of life; have their family deity and the temples of family deity in their respective native places. The customs and traditions of worshipping family deities differ some what, but in essence; they involve; regular visit to the temples of the family deities; especially on the occasion of yearly festivals of celebration called jatra.

Many of us instinctively know; the kind of STRESS resulting from the deprivation of habitat; and hence make a yearly religious visit without fail; to the temple of KULADEVATA, on the occasion of jatra.

In our early childhood we used to go to Walaval, where there is a temple of our family deity Laxmi Narayan. We traveled in our neighbor; Mr. Chintamni (fondly called Chintu) Patankar’s hired; van like private vehicle.
The narrow brick red roads to Walaval; flanked by the greenery, the water streams, the rivulets, the typical shacks selling hot tea and bhaji (the smell of which percolated in the atmosphere and titillated the olfactory sense and taste buds), the houses with tiled roofs and lastly the temple of Laxmi-Narayan (also called Dev Narayan) are still very fresh in the memory.

The Laxmi Narayan temple is several centuries old and there is a lake by its side. In those days; the lake appeared fearsome as we did not know swimming and there was the belief that at least one or two persons died in the lake! The pujaris (the people appointed for worship of the deity); had maintained the sanctity of the temple, which created a sense of reverence and awe! These feelings and even the taste of the simple; but fresh and hot food; served by our distant relatives, linger in our minds even today.

But later I came in touch with Marxist analysis of poverty and misery in the society. Since I had no strong enough argument to counter the Marxist analysis, my beliefs somewhat drifted (in search of truth), from the family deity Dev Narayan, who appeared to be redundant and restricted to the temple and provide no solutions to challenges in personal and social life.

But today we are convinced that Marxist analysis; (though definitely more advanced than the indolent, parasitic, helpless and deterministic outlook), has to be culminated quickly into the globally blossoming process of self realization.

Thus God is one, but deities are many. Every family has a family deity. The child is introduced to the deity right from the birth. This introduction is immensely important because it keeps reminding the individual about the destination viz. blossoming into comic consciousness!

Thus the family deity is a forward step, made easy by parents, towards the realization of truth! At that age, no amount of philosophy can work. In fact it can be counterproductive and convert young minds into fanatic fascist robots. It is this introduction, familiarity and actual participation in the activities meted out for individual and social blossoming that constitute; some of the valuable aspects of acculturation called SANSKARA.

Today we are under the stress of being away from our habitat. Let us understand that being educated in alien atmosphere, alien curriculum and alien ideology; boosts and bloats our ego and disgruntlement. We then keep grumbling about our literature, our deities, our history, our capabilities and our future. We turn against our own ancestors and culture as if they were villains and we are heroes! Such self destructiveness; turns us away from the loving ambience of our families and family deities. We egoistically think that the family deity provided no solutions (as if he/she was supposed to provide ones); and hence is redundant and restricted to the temple. This arrogance and disgruntlement itself is the hallmark of stress resulting from the deprivation of habitat.

How can going back to this habitat physically and intellectually be extremely pleasant and beneficial in Total Stress Management?

Return to our families and family deities; is reunification of our-selves with our emotional roots. We are introduced to the family deity right from our birth. When no amount of philosophy can work; or in fact can convert our young minds into fanatic fascist robs; the introduction, familiarity and actual participation in the rituals of KULADEVATA enrich our habitat and ensure; individual and global blossoming. This is how going back (if we are broken away) to our family deity and physically and intellectually would ensure Total Stress Management.

The family deity conceptually then grows into cosmic consciousness and the individual develops cosmic perspective in the course of time.

Family deity is a very important and vital component of the process of individual and global blossoming and emancipation!

Our family deity lives in the beautiful temple located in the beautiful place mentioned above viz. Walaval in Kudal Taluka, Sindhudurga district, Maharashtra state, India. Even as Dev Narayan is my family deity, any one who visits the temple, would be reminded and reoriented to the cosmic consciousness in the course of time, besides being rejuvenated by the especially invigorating ambience!

However the humility and openness; is very much required for the physical and intellectual return to KULADEVATA i.e. family deity (and Total Stress Management); and subsequent orientation to the cosmic consciousness; becomes possible through the practice of NAMASMARAN.

We may not believe all this; but can think over and verify!

STRESS AND KULADEVATA: DR. SHRINIWAS KASHALIKAR
STRESS AND KULADEVATA: DR. SHRINIWAS KASHALIKAR

In India; thousands of family groups worship different kuladaivatas or kuladevatas. Kula means pedigree and daivata or devata means deity. The temples of these deities are present in different villages and people assemble periodically in these temples and worship the deities with different customs and traditions. The yearly congregations are called jatras and constitute a great event of cultural rejuvenation, unification and harmonization.

In my view these kuladaivatas or kuladevatas are the divine doors to the home of ultimate truth. They are divine branches of the root embodying eternal truth. These are divine channels or divine routes; to the abode of absolute truth.

As I have discussed in my books such as Hitguj and Shambhavi, the temples in general; constitute; the unending springs of vitality and rejuvenation. These are the places where individuals can consume the sacred sap of enlightenment and transcend above their petty ego, petty aspirations and petty pursuits.

NAMASKAR is prostrating in front of the idols. We may feel that this is meekness or lowliness. But that is not so. In fact; just as a person with bamboo spine; cannot bend due to inability; similarly a person with mental rigidity and inflexible ego; is unable to prostrate or do NAMSKAR. It is egoistic arrogance and lack of humility. It is not a sign of strength but a sign of weakness and fragility. It is a sign of apprehension and phobia of breaking; if one bends!

NAMASKAR or prostration; is an achievement in terms of being able to surrender one’s ego, subjectivity or pettiness; at least to some extent!

Recently I visited and stayed in the temple of Shri Dev Narayan (our kuladaivata); situated in a scenic place called Walaval. Apart from the superlative rejuvenating experience, I also realized that we visit these places; only periodically and as a matter of custom and tradition. But otherwise we neglect them. We get engrossed in trivialities of life; and lose the vital core of our life residing in these temples! These sources of eternal empowerment and enlightenment are therefore; grossly “emaciated”, “weakened”, “paralyzed” and “helpless”!

The holistic solution; which treats and heals the root of the problem is NAMASMARAN. It heals the heart and soul of universe. It inspires us; to worship these deities; not as a matter of mere tradition; but as a source of universal rejuvenation, unity and harmony! It gives several creative and holistically benevolent ideas, plans and projects; in and around all the temples and places of worship, which in turn can rejuvenate the mankind!

PRACTICE, PREACHING AND PROMOTION: DR. SHRINIWAS KASHALIKAR
PRACTICE, PREACHING AND PROMOTION: DR. SHRINIWAS
KASHALIKAR

It is often said that practice is more important than merely preaching and promotion. This is obviously true; in case of those who preach and promote something for petty gains; and practice something else; for money, power, adulations or more lowly gains; at the cost of others.

But this is also true for those who unknowingly preach and promote NAMASMARAN more; and practice less!

Why does this happen?

Living (practice); and sharing (preaching and promotion) of impressions, understanding and experiences; go hand in hand!

We tend to preach and promote more; because we share a common dream with the whole world; the dream of global welfare. This is called (VISHVACHE ARTA by Saint Dnyaneshvar). But we rarely identify it; and unknowingly are charged and possessed by it according to our predisposition and capability.

Some of us get satisfied with ad hoc (incomplete, superficial and symptomatic) solutions; and enter political, social, commercial, artistic, academic, industrial, agricultural, philanthropic careers.

Some are not satisfied with ad hoc solutions; and try to go deeper to realize the dream of universal welfare.
Out of these; some get lost into the fleeting ideologies, unrealistic concepts and self deception. They come to terms with the deception and in turn; deceive people under the guise of political revolution, spiritual renaissance, sat yug and so on!

While remaining few; try to go to the roots of the problems for realizing the dream of global unity and harmony; with holistic perspective. They almost reach holistic solutions in terms of universal perspective, policies, plans and actions. The most important common factor amongst them is the indescribable bond of blossoming together.

NAMASMARAN is found to be the eternal source of holistic solutions; and in NAMASMARAN; there is an experience of the whole universe coming closer. Due to this experience; people cannot resist themselves from preaching and promoting NAMASMARAN; in every possible way; as a matter of greatest privilege, golden opportunity.

But still; it must be clarified here; that the practice of NAMASMARAN is far more real, vital, crucial to us; and the welfare of universe; than preaching and promotion.

The practice however; at times can be tiring; and hence the next best thing to do is; preaching and promotion.

In view of the overwhelming dark forces; the preaching and promotion are very much needed; so as to inform and inspire (not coax) maximum people; for the inner blossoming through NAMASMARAN. However; if we do not practice, then we are likely not to blossom from within and not get the objective experience of universal benevolence (BHAKTI); and hence indulge in loud propaganda, gaudy advertisements and create aversion and repulsion about NAMASMSRAN!

STRESS AND PRACTICE OF NAMASMARAN: DR. SHRINIWAS KASHALIKAR
STRESS AND PRACTICE OF NAMASMARAN: DR. SHRINIWAS
KASHALIKAR

Introduction

Namasmaran means remembering the name of Almighty or God that actually implies true Self. It is accepted and practiced in most religions in different forms. It has the potential to help us rise and blossom to cosmic consciousness and universal unity, which is the essence of Total Stress Management.

Steps

The first thing is provisional acceptance of the concept. Hostility or submission is not conducive to build conviction based on sound foundation.

Reading the books on Namasmaran; gives us the idea about the simplicity of the process and also why people start it and also give it up rather too quickly!

Selecting a place, a particular suitable time and a suitable position and starting to remember any name of God we are familiar with, belongs to our tradition or religion, or simply we have reverence about.

Practicing this way for five minutes every day

Continuing without expecting anything miraculous as initially we experience restlessness and feeling of wastage of time; because we are used to think, feel and move unknowingly and mechanically in response to external and internal influences. Hence Namasmaran, during which this thinking, feeling and moving activity is absent; makes us suffocated, empty or useless.

Gradually we will get over this phase and enter into the realm free of the shackles of subjectivity, superficiality and pettiness.

We will then feel like sharing our experiences selflessly with others. We may happily do it but without discontinuing our Namasmaran.

Namasmaran is simple, inexpensive, does not require any gadgets, does not require any change in culture, does not have any glamour and glitter, does not give any tangible gains and hence usually quickly started but then also quickly given up. Hence we have to persist on Namasmaran irrespective of anything --- because Namasmaran takes us beyond everything tangible i.e. towards ultimate freedom.

Tips

Namasmaran is done quietly or by audible pronunciation of the name.

Namasmaran can be done with or without a rosary.

Namasmaran can be done in any physical and physiological condition and anywhere in any situation.

There is no restriction on anything or rather there is no prerequisite for Namasmaran hence nothing (type of food, alcohol, tobacco, race, religion, caste etc) come in the way of starting the practice of Namasmaran.

Detractors of Namasmaran may humiliate or try to dissuade. But through Namasmaran we would learn how to overcome criticism and ridicule; without getting perturbed.

The gains of Namasmaran are completely intangible. Hence it is preferable not to preach anyone (though sharing is fine) or insist any one about Namasmaran.
In the course of time we would get increasingly involved in Namasmaran and begin to practice it for longer time and whenever we get the opportunity. This is an indication of an improvement and blossoming!

Later we would experience lack of hatred, lack prejudice, lack of fear, lack of worries and greater and greater buoyancy.
The addictions and negative thoughts usually reduce one's self esteem and create self doubt and deter one from namasmaran. Hence it is said that irrespective of how you are; start and persist on the practice of namasmaran (jaap or Jap). Practice of namasmaran itself clears the doubts and deterrent negative thoughts and develops the necessary conviction.
Warning

There is no warning with respect to Namasmaran, which is also called jaap, jap or jikra.

STRESS AND BHAKTI: DR. SHRINIWAS KASHALIKAR
STRESS AND BHAKTI: DR. SHRINIWAS KASHALIKAR

The activities in body cells, various exocrine and endocrine glands go one and contribute to peculiar activities in nervous system. These contribute to our body consciousness, pains and pleasures. These pains and pleasures; in turn lead to desires, ambitions, hopes and despair or pride.

The sum total of these; however eludes most of us. Hence we remain discontent and disturbed irrespective of failures and successes.

The body however undergoes aging in the course of time and our restlessness and anxiety begin to deepen in view of impending end of our body.

This is the reason the saints have repeatedly preached to begin the activity of self realization in the form of NAMASMARAN; right from childhood; irrespective of whether we understand the essence of it or not.

NAMASMARAN has been emphasized also because; other activities e.g. exercise, diet, social norms, career building, etiquettes, manners, customs, traditions, conventions, rituals, festivals, hobbies, art, entertainment; are generally followed without much resistance and without much reluctance! But all these in absence of NAMASMARAN; are elusive and illusive.

BHAKTI is not mere subjective feeling. It is an objective benevolence to entire universe. It is true freedom. It is true selflessness and true fearlessness. Hence it is the real conquest of stress; and is the greatest “gain” from NAMASMARAN. Hence emergence of BHAKTI makes us richest source of ambrosia to blossom the whole universe.

STRESS, BRAHMA AND BRAHMANA: DR. SHRINIWAS KASHALIKAR
STRESS, BRAHMA AND BRAHMANA: DR. SHRINIWAS KASHALIKAR

One of the major causes of STRESS is inaction, which is caused by conceptual misunderstanding of the aphorism “I am BRAHMA”. We are BRAHMA in our talks, imagination and preaching. But due to insufficient blossoming; through NAMASMARAN and SWADHARMA; we are mediocre apolitical, petty, indolent, indifferent, irresponsible; and self destructive; in our personal and social behavior.

We do not realize that “I am BRAHMA” is true only for extremely few exceptional (transphysical, transphysiological) individuals; and not for all.

All of us are; Brahma + (body + mind + society + and many things included in internal and external environment) together called “maya”). Hence our aim should be to transcend MAYA; through the practice of SWADHARMA and NAMASMARAN; by evolving the international and national perspective, policy making, plans, programs and their implementation!

What is true about BRAHMA is also true for BRAHMANA.

Much has been written about BRAHMANA. Some praise BRAHMANA and some blame them for all the maladies in India. Some adore the BRAHMANA for acting as conduits of the knowledge and wisdom; from the ancient past to the present; and some hate them for allegedly writing and propounding scriptures such as MANAU SMRUTI and for allegedly being responsible for the socio-political discrimination and untouchability.

The word BRAHAMANA is explained in SAHASRANETRA. But a brief consideration of BRAHAMANA is worthwhile.

Even as BRAHMANA community; exists; and even as it is not easy to overcome the prejudices, preconceptions, grudges; related to a community; we ought to realize that every individual in the world; has all four tendencies viz. BRAHAMANA, KSHATRIYA, VAISHYA and SHUDRA and being BRAHMANA is not restricted to any community.

Being BRAHMANA (irrespective of one’s community and caste; by birth); is being in a continuous process of conscious evolution; embodying; blossoming of perspective, thoughts, feelings, aspirations, conceptions, articulations and overall behavior conducive to individual and global blossoming.

Holistic politics, holistic economics, holistic education, holistic health, holistic medicine, holistic agriculture, holistic industries, holistic trades, holistic banking, holistic art and literature, holistic sports and overall holistic way of living; are hallmarks of a BRAHMANA.

Being BRAHMANA is; the vitalization, promotion, regulation, coordination and harmonization of the KSHATRIYA, VAISHYA and SHUDRA elements; inside and outside; and realizing blossoming of individual and universe, as envisaged by Saint Dnyaneshwar in his PASAYA DAANA.

We all; irrespective of birth; have a privilege and opportunity to evolve as BRAHMANA; through NAMASMARAN; and participate in the process of blossoming of one and all. Merely blaming BRAHMANA or any other community as such; is suicidal for us; and also bound to throttle and jeopardize; the process of individual and global blossoming!

STRESS, AGING AND DYING: DR. SHRINIWAS KASHALIKAR
STRESS, AGING AND DYING: DR. SHRINIWAS KASHALIKAR

We are blessed with the opportunity to realize the SELF and experience the process of simultaneous blossoming of one and all.

Life is like a ripe alfanso (hapoos) mango. Should we care to taste it or worry about its getting deteriorated?

It is like being jasmine flowers. Should we smell and relish it or worry about its drying out?

Our body is meant to realize the SELF and experience the process of blossoming of one and all. Should we waste time in getting worried and anxious about when and how it is going to deteriorate, decompose and destroyed? Should we not use our body, consciousness and all the means and modalities; to merge in NAMASMARAN the immortal, omniscient, omnipotent and omnipresent ambrosia?

Practice of NAMASMARAN is a golden opportunity; irrespective of our religion, race, age, sex, occupation, nationality etc. If we begin NAMASMARAN right from now; then the fear of aging and death would vanish because we would have “won the race”; with the rapid processes of bodily decay and death!

STRESS AND CONCEPTUAL STRESS: DR. SHRINIWAS KASHALIKAR
STRESS AND CONCEPTUAL STRESS: DR. SHRINIWAS KASHALIKAR

Conceptual stress is not a separate entity. It is a part of over all process of stress. We can also call it intellectual confusion, doubts, chaos, conflicts, suspicions etc; born; out of physical, metabolic, endocrine, autonomic, and nervous i.e. instinctual, emotional and intellectual interactions; with internal and external environment.

It is true that we should manage to bypass or ignore some questions, and rightly so; e.g. mathematical problems need not; as a routine, bother a biologist. Similarly, the problems of school children are best dealt with in the text-books and guides and the experts in those fields; and need not worry a musician.

But there are issues which are a) inevitable b) inseparable c) unavoidable, d) faced by most of us; and affect our personal, family and social life; as well as the life of the society as a whole; immensely. These issues produce Conceptual or Intellectual Stress!

In modern life; the pace of life has become very fast. The nature of the influences of the scientific and technological advances is much more complex and there are rapidly emerging new issues and we are unable to understand and deal with them. Morality, ethics, customs, traditions and conventions, which guided us in past; are being proved inadequate and/or irrelevant!

Conceptual stress results from day to day questions; such as celibacy or free sex, divorce no divorce, legalization of homosexuality or no, caste based reservations or no, charity or SWADHARMA, vegetarianism or non vegetarianism, theism or atheism, rationality or shraddha, productive element in education or no; and so on!

Health related issues are even more troublesome. Thus complexity, mysteriousness and dread of; AIDS, cancer, diabetes, heart disease, muscular dystrophy; cause stress.

To give a simple example, excessive and unfounded fear of cancer; is a case of conceptual stress. Cancer phobia many times results from inappropriate views, feelings and actions (conceptual deficiency) about cancer, its nature, its symptoms such as pain and its outcome.

A patient of cancer phobia may suspect that he/she has cancer, whenever he/she gets pain. If he/she gets repeated pain, in a particular organ then he/she starts suspecting cancer of that particular part! This leads to morbid fear, anxiety, worry, and sense of helplessness; due to imagination of pain, agonies and physical, mental, economic and social dependence helplessness.

Conceptual stress involves:
1. Defective or inaccurate perceptions, imagination, ideas, thoughts, guesswork;
2. Lopsided, disproportionate imbalanced emotions;
3. Unreasonable instincts and unnatural physical needs,

These are associated with disturbed rates, interrelationships and proportions in electrophysiological interactions in brain, secretion of neurotransmitters, hormones; and metabolic activities. These cause deleterious effects on personal and social health.

“Conscious” conceptual stress is minimal or absent if we are totally ignorant and adjusted to a self centered, petty, indifferent, reflexive, passive, callous and stereotyped life style like a lower animal. But still; there can be “subconscious” stress; and it can play havoc!

Conceptual stress is not merely determined by the technological advances and their complex effects; but also by our nature, constitution and overall resilience, tenacity, fighting spirit, patience, killer instinct and objectivity. Confusing information about the risk of computers and mobile phones, radiations of mobile towers, swine flu, bird flu, chicken Gunia, cyber crimes; creates stress.

Maximum conceptual stress is developed; when begin to grow. As our perspective assumes global dimension our thinking reaches out to probe into; and explore the mysteries of various natural phenomena, our feelings reach out to the miseries of the millions including animals; the conceptual stress multiplies! This stress amongst Swami Vivekananda, Mahatma Gandhi, Lokamanya Tilak and others; gave new light to world.

Our conceptual stress also; increases as we search for solutions to the conflicting situations and observations and inexplicable issues and come close to the solutions; but encounter difficulty in expressing them! This becomes more disturbing when our solutions are proved ineffective, though not inaccurate! Since we seem to fail we get quite stressed in persisting with our views and mission; but cannot abandon them too! We are in agony! Why are we ineffective if we are accurate?

At this point the very foundation of our existence begins to shake and our existence almost gets uprooted! But through this devastating dark night; dawns; the capacity to assert ourselves and conquer the stressors on the one hand; and there is visible benevolent impact of Total Stress Management on the other!

The key factors involved throughout; is NAMASMARAN, which is very simple. There is no need of any technique, money, methodology, technology, cooperation; or anything for that matter. It is beyond all kinds of “barriers and walls” of beliefs and non beliefs. It is a super-solution provided by the immortal galaxy of saints, seers and sages; from round the globe, but most importantly by Shri Brahmachaitanya Maharaj Gondavlekar.

Lastly; every one of us is bound to go through the conceptual stress knowingly or unknowingly and hence; there is no escape. We can conquer it through NAMASMARAN (remembering our true self); and get the empowerment and enlightenment; and vision, clarity and clues; to individual and global blossoming; or else; suffer and inflict others with our suffering.

STRESS AND FREEDOM: DR. SHRINIWAS KASHALIKAR
STRESS AND FREEDOM: DR. SHRINIWAS KASHALIKAR

We experience STRESS; when our freedom is jeopardized.

In cellular jails the freedom is throttled in terms of even making movements and meeting people apart from all other things. Vast majority of suffer from lack of freedom of availability; of security, food, water, clothes, shelter, health care and education.

Lack of freedom of building shelters, cultivating and using medicinal herbs, cultivating land, running businesses etc; because of coercive and harrowing license system; or throttling restrictive laws; is denial of freedom.

Lack of freedom of moving to other countries, doing business in other countries, expressing ourselves in paintings, music, literature, movies, dramas and so on; is also a STRESSOR.

Lack of freedom from superstitions is also a major STRESSOR!

Thus; both the atheism and theism harbor the superstition of believing blindly; in existence and nonexistence of God.

The word existence is actually very deep and meaningful. We tend to ignore the deeper aspects of this word! Existence of a stone, existence of electricity, existence of laser rays, existence of space, existence of time, existence of a bird, existence of a boy, existence of mind, existence of feeling, existence of thoughts all are described by a single word existence. As a result of ignoring the different meanings of the word “existence”, the followers of so called atheism and theism go on arguing endlessly! Due to lack of appreciation of these meanings of the word, the truth i.e. the sense of satisfaction, unity, fearlessness, joy etc. keep on eluding us.

Let us understand that The God does not “exist” and does not “non-exist”; in routine sense of the word existence! The God experience is beyond the routine, crude and restrictive meaning of the word “exist”!

Lack of freedom to assert our conscience causes major STRESS. This is due to obstacles in our blossoming; such as; bigotry, religious and racial impositions, vested interests, fanaticism, terrorism, and pettiness of perspective, policies, plans, programs, and transactions inside and outside us! This imprisonment is fortified by restrictive laws, conventions, traditions, fashions, beliefs, films, literature, media and advertising.

Lack of freedom to be together (physically and mentally) also causes STRESS. We do not realize the unifying link, between us and others. Actually; every particle is connected by gravity, space, time and so on, and similarly but not exactly in the same way; we are connected with others; through consciousness.

When we define and hail political freedom; we have to consider these different aspects of freedom and see; whether majority of us in the world are FREE! Then we can work together; for total freedom to realize the unifying link. Moreover; through our perspective, thinking, policies, plans, administration, arts and creative efforts; create an atmosphere conducive to such individual and universal blossoming.

This is possible through the practice NAMASMARAN (JAAP, JAP, JIKRA) i.e. reorientation and realizing true self; supplemented by complementary efforts; in different walks of life. This is a process of overcoming subjectivity and being objective as taught by the immortal gurus; and is a core of Total Stress Management, superliving or holistic renaissance.
