TOTAL STRESS MANAGEMENT AND NAMASMARAN (JAP, JAAP, JIKRA, SUMIRAN, SIMARAN; i.e. remembering God or true SELF) 14: DR SHRINIWAS KASHALIKAR
TOTAL STRESS MANAGEMENT AND NAMASMARAN (JAP, JAAP, JIKRA, SUMIRAN, SIMARAN; i.e. remembering God or true SELF) 14: DR SHRINIWAS KASHALIKAR
Patient: Last time you said; “I may not use the word "must"! But if you are convinced, then you certainly would NAMASMARAN and Total Stress Management; joyously, victoriously and on war footing!” But don’t you think; the paintings, sculptures, music, dramatics, dances, sports, cuisines etc; make life wonderful; even without NAMASMARAN and Total Stress Management?
Doctor: They do make it wonderful! But it becomes far more wonderful noble and benevolent; in the enlivening, rejuvenating, harmonizing and unifying influence of NAMASMARAN and Total Stress Management!
Patient: I understand! Life would remain petty and mean; and devoid of the unifying cosmic consciousness; in absence of NAMSMARAN and Total Stress Management.
Doctor: Now you get it!
Patient: Really; there is no sense in wasting time; in merely hoping for the already stressed and helpless leaders; to include the study, research, practice and training of NAMASMARAN and Total Stress Management in curriculums!
Doctor: It is interesting to note that stress has become even greater killer because of:
A) Inadequate research,
B) Inadequate understanding
C) Lack of awareness
D) Misconceptions and dogmas about the nature, gravity and management of stress; amongst the experts
E) Wide spread apathy
F) Lack of readiness to recognize, concede, accept and manage stress; due to shame and shyness,
G) Prevalence of quackery, which complicates the problem of stress and its management!
H) Non-availability of Total Stress Management experts
Patient: Sir! You have made the picture clear and opened a new way! But why do you say that stress cannot be cured or eradicated; and it can only be managed?
Doctor: This is because; stress is inseparable from our physiological, social, economic, cultural and political life! It is like MAYA! But it is wonderful and marvelous if we “manage” it and it is ghastly if we fail!
Patient: Isn’t the stress; if we manage, like a shadow, which follows us harmlessly; and like a ghost that persecutes us, if mismanaged?
Doctor: To some extent; yes! But we will discuss it in depth; next time!

TOTAL STRESS MANAGEMENT AND NAMASMARAN (JAP, JAAP, JIKRA, SUMIRAN, SIMARAN; i.e. remembering God or true SELF) 13: DR SHRINIWAS KASHALIKAR
TOTAL STRESS MANAGEMENT AND NAMASMARAN (JAP, JAAP, JIKRA, SUMIRAN, SIMARAN; i.e. remembering God or true SELF) 13: DR SHRINIWAS KASHALIKAR

Doctor: Stress influences every cell of the body; to a greater or lesser extent. As a result; it predisposes an individual to a variety of problems! Besides predisposing to many diseases, it can actually cause many diseases. Lastly; it can aggravate already existing diseases; thereby increasing the morbidity and mortality.
Patient: Can you please give an example?
Doctor: Stress can actually cause as well as aggravate diabetes mellitus. Diabetes mellitus in turn; makes an individual susceptible to infections e.g. tuberculosis. Because of this all the family members, neighbors and colleagues of the patient are at a risk! In addition, diabetes is many times associated with a number of complications such as retinopathy, cataract, (complications of eye), neuropathy, (complications of nerves), nephropathy, (complications of kidney), gangrene (Gangrene means death and putrefaction of a part of body necessitating removal of that part (amputation) for survival) etc. All this suffering leads to weakness and fickleness of mind! We lose the capacity to meet and fight the challenges!
Patient: Why don’t we find all this about Total Stress Management; in the mainstream educational curriculums?
Doctor: The policy makers and the leaders in educational field also are stressed! Thus their perception, feelings and behavior is also distorted and deranged; leading; to development of individualistic education with petty pursuits!
Patient: I see! Now I understand why you insist on practice and promotion of NAMASMARAN!
Doctor: NAMASMARAN entails the associated measures embodied in Total Stress Management.
Patient: So we must practice and promote, practice and promote and practice and promote!!!
Doctor: I may use the word "must"! But if you are convinced, then you certainly would do so, joyously, victoriously and on war footing!
Patient: Can we conquer the ignorance and apathy and NAMASMARAN and Total Stress Management?
Doctor: Of course! We can and we will! It is writing on the wall!
Patient: Next time; will you please inspire and enlighten me further?
Doctor: I will try my best!

TOTAL STRESS MANAGEMENT AND NAMASMARAN (JAP, JAAP, JIKRA, SUMIRAN, SIMARAN; i.e. remembering God or true SELF) 12: DR SHRINIWAS KASHALIKAR
TOTAL STRESS MANAGEMENT AND NAMASMARAN (JAP, JAAP, JIKRA, SUMIRAN, SIMARAN; i.e. remembering God or true SELF) 12: DR SHRINIWAS KASHALIKAR

Patient: You had mentioned that forgetfulness of our true SELF is the root cause and hence nothing else but the process of reaching our true SELF is the remedy!
Doctor: Yes! NAMASMARAN is the remedy. This is because it is associated with transcendental perspective, thinking, feelings and behavior. In other words, it is associated with global vision, policy making, plans, programs and their implementation.
Patient; This may be called SADDHARANA, SADVICHAR, SADBHAVANA, SATPRAVRUTI, SADVASANA, SATSANKALP AND SATKARMA or SADACHAR. Right?
Doctor: Yes! Absolutely!
Patient: How does disorientation from true SELF leas to all this?
Doctor: As a result of being caricatures of ourselves we go berserk, trying to seek happiness and fulfilment in every kind of indulgence! But all our efforts go in vain and we keep slogging in turbulent emptiness! We become chaotic ourselves and multiply the chaos around! We get frustration and spread the same! We become cynical and spread cynicism!
Patient: So we ourselves multiply stress and make it the greatest killer! Can you explain how it ruins our health?
Doctor: Yes! Next time we will see how stress harms the body and how diseased body adds to stress!

TOTAL STRESS MANAGEMENT AND NAMASMARAN (JAP, JAAP, JIKRA, SUMIRAN, SIMARAN; i.e. remembering God or true SELF) 11: DR SHRINIWAS KASHALIKAR
Patient: Sir! Last time you explained; why stress does not get noticed. Moreover; is it not true that the extent of stress is variable?
Doctor: Yes. The effects of stress vary in accordance with the individual’s perceptions, his/her homeostatic machinery (Homeostatic machinery exists right from the time of fertilization of ovum and sperm. It develops into several organs & tissues which work in a coordinated manner to keep the internal environment constant [within normal range] and the nature, intensity, frequency, duration and number of stressors acting at a time and the complexity of the stressors.
Patient: Do you mean to say that the extent of energy, passions, sensitivity, intelligence and perspective of an individual would determine the extent of stress?
Doctor: Yes! But besides all these; the actual physiological constitution (genotype and phenotype) also determine the effects of stress. All these are referred to as SANCHIT!
Patient: What is genotype and phenotype?
Doctor: Genotype is like seed, where the life is not expressed and phenotype is like a tree, where life is expressed.
Patient: Because of TV and internet the stimuli bombarding on our mind have multiplied in rapidity and complexity!
Doctor: Yes! As we have forgotten our true SELF, we have become disoriented caricatures of ourselves! We have become desperate to “achieve” petty personal gains!
Patient: So we ourselves add to the stressors in the form of spreading lies! Am I right?
Doctor: You said it! Hence NAMASMARAN is the reversal of the forgetfulness and disorientation of true SELF! It is the process of reversal of the root cause of stress!
Patient: So, do all these factors determine; the extent of stress and its effects on the life of an individual and the environment?
Doctor: Yes! Environment includes physical e.g. global warming, chemical e.g. pollution, biological e.g. mosquitoes, the family e.g. domestic violence, working place e.g. nepotism, society e.g. riots!
Patient: Sir! Now I am eager and keen to learn more about all this!
Doctor: Surely!
Patient; Sir! Please explain to me elaborately the root of cause of stress, why and how it is the greatest killer and also the greatest destroyer; and how to begin Total Stress Management!
Doctor: Surely! In fact this process of understanding is the first step in Total Stress Management; helping me also!

DIVINE WISDOM DR SHRINIWAS KASHALIKAR
DIVINE WISDOM DR SHRINIWAS KASHALIKAR

NAMASMARAN is a process of promotion from a position of helpless engagement; in compulsions, activities and duties; of primitive nature; to the positions of being increasingly closer to and in tune with; the omniscient, omnipotent and omnipresent superpower; our Guru! This is also called the phenomenon of self realization and is the greatest of all achievements; as there is nothing else to achieve!

But this does not appear to be true; till we are engrossed and entangled in consciousness; associated with body metabolism, endocrine system, autonomic nervous system and central nervous system; and its interactions with the internal and external environments (KARMA).

The environments (including the educational, occupational, political, cultural, economic, social, religious etc); keep stimulating and arousing us; to act in one way or another! But we find that in spite of our efforts; life (individual as well as universal life) “leaves us behind” and continues to shape itself beyond our imagination!
In the process; our passions, desires, love, hatred, ambitions, missions and so on; appear to be defeated! The world moves ahead and we get dragged after it; helplessly; even if we are physically and financially sound!

As and when; our Guru blesses us; we realize that ‘we’ do not fully understand the nature of universe and the myriads of good or bad entities and desirable and undesirable events; inside and outside; and that; our Guru fully “knows and governs appropriately”; everything!

As a result; we begin to “see” our Guru’s eternal divine wisdom at work; in everything and in every event; and the merit of surrendering Him!

Thus we stop considering the practice of NAMASMARAN (JAP, JAAP, JIKRA, SUMIRAN, and SIMARAN i.e. remembering God or true self); a defeatist, escapist, helpless, unproductive, ineffective expression of an aging or ailing person; but a solemn and pleasant duty of a person promoted to a top position of governance and benevolence!

STRESS AND EDUCATION DR SHRINIWAS KASHALIKAR
STRESS AND EDUCATION DR SHRINIWAS KASHALIKAR

If education does not involve adequate teacher and student interaction; then the cognitive domains remains defective. Thinking or perception remains defective. Attitude becomes sectarian, biased, prejudiced and divisive. This itself causes suffocation and stress.

As a result; there is defective affective domain. The feelings become diseased. The feelings of love, considerate attitude, generosity, oneness, get distorted and one becomes mean, insecure, timid, cruel, treacherous, cheater and so on.

The psychomotor domain involves development of skills. Lack of productive domain in mainstream schools and colleges; nurtures dependence on certificates and breeds corruption for passing, appointment, promotion and so on!

Physical domain involves physical fitness. Sedentary education causes hypo-kinetic (lack of movement) stress. The youth deprived of outdoor sports, athletics, exercise, walking, running etc develop stress.

Spiritual domain refers to inner growth that facilitates the blossoming of all above domains. Prayers for global welfare and practices such as NAMASMARAN enhance spiritual domain. Lack of this domain leads to pettiness, meanness, irresponsibility, fragility, lack of adaptability and so on!

WHAT TO DO? DR SHRINIWAS KASHALIKAR
WHAT TO DO? DR SHRINIWAS KASHALIKAR

Disciple: Master! Why am I still not in peace? What should I do?
Guru: My son! Nobody is at peace! Everybody is temporarily involved in pain or pleasure!
Disciple: Why am I not in peace?
Guru: This is because; your perceptions, feelings and the responses; are still subjective!
Disciple: How to be at peace?
Guru: Being at peace; means being objective and being one with ME! It is my blessing!
Disciple: What should I do?
Guru: Continue to be; in NAMASMARAN; and be aware that what ever is happening through you and in fact through the whole universe; is MY LEELA! At right time you will be ecstatic to find yourself in ME!

PEACE PEACE AND PEACE DR SHRINIWAS KASHALIKAR
PEACE PEACE AND PEACE DR SHRINIWAS KASHALIKAR

It is mind-blowing; how India is overflowing with floods of philosophy and speeches of spiritual joy! Amidst all the hell and abyss; they say; "When you change the "way" of looking at the world; the world changes!"

How much ever I tried; I can not be happy, contented, satisfied or at peace; in today's situation. I tried to convince my self that this is God's desire! But the argument from within is; my restlessness also is God's desire!

I was not at peace when I was struck with problems, as I became restless to solve them; I was not at peace when the solutions followed; as I became impatient to share the solutions with society; and I am still not at peace after sharing; as that has made me feel helpless; to see; how the solutions (e.g. practice of NAMASMARAN and propagation of its vital role in individual and global welfare); are proving unable to arouse interest and active participation; amongst; even the most conscientious people!

Whether due to my ego or my own unending sins; I am NOT at peace in; the over all misery; even if there is in the background; the omniscient, omnipresent and omnipotent Gurukrupa!

SURROGACY LAW & ART REULATION BILL;FIRST TIME IN INDIA
Government to introduce landmark bill on surrogacy in Cabinet
drrnakipuria@gmail.com,07503303359,09832025685,SENIOR GYNAECOLOGIST & INFERTILITY ,IVF AND SURROGACY EXPERT,SILIGURI,DELHI NCR
Women in India cannot act as surrogates for more than three successful births, including of their own children, and it would be mandatory for surrogate mothers to have a minimum two-year interval between two deliveries to ensure they remain healthy. These landmark provisions are part of the proposed draft Assisted Reproductive Technologies (ART) Bill which the government plans to bring to the Cabinet before introducing in Parliament for passage. Any contravention of provisions of this bill would attract severe penalties.
The bill, a first in India's history, seeks to monitor the unregulated sector of ART clinics, which offer infertility solutions to couples at huge costs, besides preventing commercial surrogacy and safeguarding the rights of surrogate mothers and children born out of surrogacy arrangements.
An estimated 15 per cent couples worldwide are infertile, making ART services critical. The draft ART Bill seeks to fill these gaps and addresses "ethical, legal issues related to gamete donation, surrogacy and nationality of the child born out of ART." Top sources in the Health Ministry said the bill had been sent for comments to ministries and replies were expected by August 5, after which the final draft bill will be prepared.
Government to introduce landmark bill on surrogacy in Cabinet
The bill addresses ethical and legal issues related to child birth through Assisted Reproductive Technologies.
The bill is significant as currently there is no supervisory body in the country under which ART clinics offering services, including surrogacy to infertile couples, can be placed and there is no system to monitor these services and ensure that surrogate mothers are not exploited. According to draft bill provisions, no woman less than 21 years of age and over 35 years can act as a surrogate mother. The bill also, for the first time, states conditions for foreign couples seeking to hire surrogates in India. "Several issues such as ethical, moral, monetary and safety, have been raised in this area by various sectors of the society as there is no law to regulate the issues of surrogacy in India," a Health ministry note states.
The Bill comes at a time when surrogacy has become a preferred mode of having children, with film stars like Aamir Khan and Shahrukh Khan opting for the method. Under the new draft law, surrogacy is defined as "an arrangement in which a woman agrees to a pregnancy achieved through ART in which neither of the gametes (the egg or the sperm) belong to her or her husband, with the intention of carrying the pregnancy to term and hand over the child to the persons for whom she is acting as a surrogate."
As per the bill, all expenses of the surrogate mother would have to borne by the infertile couple, including her insurance. A surrogate, before being hired, has to be medically tested for sexually transmitted diseases and AIDS to ensure she does not pass on the infection to the child. To streamline financial commitments between the infertile couple and the surrogate mother, the draft bill says a surrogate mother has the right to terminate her pregnancy at any time but if she does so without medical reasons, she will have to reimburse the cost to the infertile couple which has hired her.
If, however, the pregnancy has been terminated for medical reasons, no reimbursement would be needed. Also by law, a surrogate mother would have to relinquish all parental rights over the child born out of the arrangement. The draft bill adds that a surrogate cannot undergo embryo transfer for more than three times for the same couple.
This provision aims to prevent commercialisation of the service. The bill states conditions for foreign couples seeking to hire surrogates in India. As per the draft, they would have to first give a certificate from their foreign ministry stating that the child born out of a surrogacy arrangement would be permitted entry in their country of origin and would be considered the biological child of the couple. "A foreign couple seeking a surrogate service in India will have to appoint a local guardian to care for the surrogate mother till the child is delivered to the hiring couple. Foreign couple will use at least one gamete of their own in the creation of the embryo. "In case the foreign couple fails to take delivery of the child, the local guardian would be obliged to take the said delivery and he would be free to hand over the child in adoption," the draft law states.
Once the bill is passed by Parliament, all states and UTs would have to constitute state boards and registration authority to regulate ART clinics and banks in their areas. Every state board will have the power of a civil court to adjudicate matters under the law and even impose penalties.
A National Advisory Board for ART will be established under the Health Ministry to recommend modification of rules to the ART techniques and Indian Council of Medical Research will maintain a national registry of ART clinics and banks in India which will act as a central database through which all information related to services offered by clinics will be maintained.
