STRESS AND EMOTIONAL IMPOTENCE: DR. SHRINIWAS KASHALIKARStress is also produced if we do not get reciprocation or response; to our demands such as demand of money, food, passions, service, comforts, caring, love and even respect! We feel stressed; even if others refuse to share our views or feelings and do not cooperate in anything that we want.
Why do we have to go through this kind of stress?
If we think carefully, then we understand that this could be because of two reasons.
First is; our demands are unjustified or inappropriate and the second is; the other person cannot to match with our demands.
Actually; both are partly true.
Because our demands; though not completely appropriate are not totally unjustified. This because; we are humans; and it is human to err. Secondly the others are also not completely incapable of matching our needs per se; but stressed from time to time and hence in those circumstances; cannot match our demands.
What could be the reason?
The possible reason is:
Various permutations and combinations of; central and autonomic nervous activity and secretion and metabolism; of hormones and neuro-hormones; which create certain inadvertent demands in us; and also; reduce the capacity to match them; in others!
Well! There is; no proof for this, but it is known that; different permutations and combinations of activities of various parts of brain; and secretions and metabolism of adrenaline, serotonin, gama amino butyric acid, testosterone, acetyl choline; corticosteroids, are involved in our feelings and behavior.
This may also be the cause of our emotional impotence; i.e. our inability to listen and reciprocate; to the call of our own conscience and e.g. examine our demands; and also; our inability be motivated to match the demands of the others. We may find out if NAMASMARAN can cure us; of emotional impotence.
