STRESS AND DOUBTS: DR. SHRINIWAS KASHALIKAR
STRESS AND DOUBTS: DR. SHRINIWAS KASHALIKAR

As we go on studying the meaning, effects, causes, mechanism of stress; and the concepts and practice of Total Stress Management, we come across several doubts. This is common to sensitive, sensible and inquisitive individuals.

Even as there is a place for obedience, hard work, discipline, trust, faith, humility; it is imperative to have frank and open minded discussion and clarification of doubts. If we accept the Total Stress Management blindly, then it is counterproductive. The doubts themselves; produce stress! This stress keeps on eroding, suffocating and blocking our growth from within!

In fact; if we imbibe any ideology without doubting its validity; then we are likely to be blindfolded, fanatic, self righteous, and atrociously egoistic, mindless, whimsical and indiscriminately violent. Conversely; if we reject it blindly; then we miss the opportunity of study and progress; to our satisfaction.

It is true that all the doubts can not be cleared every time; and instantly. But in that case it is good to accept the concepts provisionally; and work on them sincerely and patiently for the answers; till we are totally satisfied!

Lastly; just as blind acceptance causes stress; even getting convinced from time to time and developing rational conviction (without actual participation in Total Stress Management); is counterproductive. In such cases; we tend to be cynical, melancholic, and sadistic and actually hamper the process of individual and social blossoming!

Hence; we have to assert the Total Stress Management; in day to day life in a buoyant and victorious manner! We have to evolve globally benevolent perspective, thoughts, policies and plans. We have to develop motivation, mobilization and activities; at individual and global levels and share all this; with others! This requires immense strength, broad heartedness and objectivity ensured in NAMASMARAN.
