SCOPE OF NAMASMARAN -- DR SHRINIWAS KASHALIKAR
In the literature of saints and prophets there is plenty of admiration of NAMASMARAN as a way to liberation and/or emancipation.

But whether we totally disbelieve or believe in the saints and the prophets; we need not desist ourselves; from asking the question: If NAMASMARAN is a panacea; why are billions are people; many of whom are followers of NAMASMARAN; suffering miserably?

Many of us are tempted explain this on the basis of past deeds, which indirectly suggests that NAMSMARAN cannot purify our past deeds. It is a kind of admission of the limitations of NAMASMARAN.

In my view; NAMASMARAN is a panacea today; (if not in the past) due to the enlightening and empowering bounty of the penance of thousands of saints in the past. Today; it can chastise us; as well as purify us from our past misdeeds. But for this; at least a large proportion of people; if not all; need to practice NAMASMARAN and be oriented to their true selves.

This is similar to the phenomenon of an orchestration, where most instrumentalists and the vocalists are required to be oriented to the musician for desired harmony, melody and rhythm!

Actually when we get oriented to our true selves; we begin to get freed from the shackles of the stranglehold of our passions, lust, desires, ideas, beliefs, notions, dogmas and so on, which are often pursued at the cost of others. We begin to be more objective and hence less prejudiced, less biased, less grudged, less individualistic, less sectarian, less fragmented, less petty and so on.

In view of this; it is clear that; while practicing NAMASMARAN we need not get detracted, disturbed, disheartened, depressed or destabilized; by such destabilizing questions in our minds.

NAMASMARAN is the way; the universal way; and the most feasible way; even if we are NOT transformed into an enlightened soul; overnight and even if we do not see (through our subjective frames of our minds) the expected or anticipated results; in our life and the life of mankind.

Whether we are good, bad or ugly; and believers or non-believers; we still have the golden opportunity to practice NAMASMARAN and be a happy participant of the process of superliving or holistic renaissance i.e. individual and universal blossoming.

COMPASSION COW AND CRUELTY --- DR SHRINIWAS KASHALIKAR
Yesterday; I read few incidences in the life of one of the greatest propounders of NAMASMARAN viz. Shri Brahmachaitanya Gondavlekar Maharaj from Gondavle of Satara district in Maharashtra (India). These were related to his compassion for cows.
He heart used to bleed for the cows being killed. He rescued cows on several occasions; even by paying double money to the butchers; from being taken to be sold and slaughtered.
Several spiritual leaders full of concern for universal welfare and in short; holistic renaissance; in the world; were and are against cow slaughter.
Many argue against cow slaughter with economic concerns and plead that slaughter of cows and other animals are biological and hence natural phenomenon of animals eating animals.
These are disguised forms of cruelty. Compassion has to rise against cruelty within and outside.
Even as it is a great merit t serve cows at personal and institutional levels; it is still inadequate.
An international law, convention and consensus have to be built up for prevention of cow slaughter to begin with; followed by the stepwise prevention of other animals. Cow slaughter has to be banned irrespective of whether the cow provides milk or not. The political and economic leaders can surely discover professional and job alternatives for slaughtering cows/animals and catering non vegetarian food.
This would be a true homage to the spiritual leaders like Shri Brahmachaitanya Gondavlekar Maharaj and others in the world!

Arnica Montana- Lot More than Mere an Injury Medicine!
The credit of most widely used drug by lay people and non-homeopaths should go to Arnica Montana! I have seen innumerable orthopedic surgeons, physiotherapists, and general physicians prescribing Arnica in 200 or higher potencies for different types of bruised and contused wounds. Yes! This is what Arnica is famous for. Only the person who has experienced the magic of this wondrous drug can understand its therapeutic efficacy.

Just recently I had a skeptic comment to one of the articles in which use of Arnica was stressed. The commentator had ridiculed its use and said it is nothing more than a placebo in keeping the patient’s hope high after its intake. Well, as usual I had ignored it! The point of telling this here is the fact that the same skeptic after a few days wrote to me, (This is what he says exactly; have taken his permission to put this in his own words), “My son aged 6 years had a contused wound made by the hit of a stone to his right index finger 3 days back. I had given him the best of analgesic but he was still wailing in despair. There was marked swelling and he couldn’t move his terminal phalanx. While wondering what to do, I remembered about the bottle of Arnica 200CH I had bought on one of the occasions on insistence of my wife (but didn’t find it useful at all in one of the instance, so had kept it aside). Gave my son 3 globules of Arnica and miracle happened. Within next 2 hours, his swelling substantially reduced and next day he was absolutely free from pain. Perhaps, I had used it in wrong place earlier; so please excuse me for my earlier skeptic comment on it”. Certainly not too many skeptics have this big heart!

In short, Arnica Montana is a darling medicine for homeopaths and non-homeopaths alike, as it rarely refuses to act positively when homeopathically applied.

However, the purpose of this article is not to elaborate on the “INJURY” aspect of Arnica Montana but the other aspects of it other than injury! Yes, it is one of the very useful polychrest remedies in homeopathic material medica that needs to be studied in depth to utilize its finest of properties.

Let’s see—

• One of the most important symptoms of Arnica one should remember is- pain in the part that is used more. It is thus not only the contused wound pain but pain in any organ that is being used a lot. The fatigue from this over-use leads to sore pain. For example- if a person develops sore throat after talking incessantly for long hours, Arnica will help him get rid of this soreness almost immediately. If there is sudden rise of blood pressure in a person who has done loads of hard work, a dose of Arnica will help lower his blood pressure and no anti-hypertensive drugs will be necessary! This thus applies to any part or organ.

• Arnica is one of the important remedies also for depression! In many cases, the remedial diagnosis comes of Arnica when a homeopath might miss out on this wonderful drug to rouse the patient from his dreaded depressive spirits. The patient dreads to be talked to, hates any sort of conversation, imagines he is suffering from some heart problem and remains frightened; alternating with the state of fearlessness when he says there is nothing the matter with him! Lots of nightmares are usually present with fearful dreams. This usually happens is people who have gone through some sort of physical and/or mental shock. The depression is almost always associated with great soreness of body, because of which he dreads the thought of touching anyone. This painful uneasiness with restlessness permeates through all Arnica patients.

• Arnica is one of the good remedies for bleeding tendencies. Bluish red spots come suddenly on skin or on mucus membranes or any inflamed part tends to bleed easily. The expectorant is dotted with tiny red blood clots at times. Urine even is bloody especially after an accident and there can be bleeding from various orifices of the body. Arnica is the remedy that helps in early clotting of blood when given at right time.

• One of the great remedies for rheumatic diathesis. Bruised lame feeling in joints is the marked feature. Usually associated with mental despair and agony. History of joint injury can be traced back as early as in childhood. Sudden turning of joints with blue-black appearance is also one of the hallmarks of Arnica.

• Also the old cases of gout with extreme soreness and enhanced sensitivity respond very well to Arnica.

• Any inflammatory condition in the body pertaining to liver, kidneys, bladder or lungs (of course irrespective of the diagnosis) with sore bruised feeling all over the body responds well to very few doses of Arnica. Never doubt the use of Arnica in such cases (for example pneumonia), as the doubt might arise because possibly Arnica has very little sphere of action on lungs. That’s the beauty of holistic medicine like homeopathy that caters any and all symptoms effectively if the remedy selected is based on Law of Similars.

• Some gastric symptoms are very prominent in Arnica that one should never miss. There is marked aversion to meat, broth, and milk! Many inflammatory conditions in abdomen respond well to Arnica including appendicitis. Dr J T Kent says, “It is only deplorable ignorance that causes appendicitis to be surrendered to the knife. You need not run to a surgeon for every case of appendicitis if you know Bryonia, Rhus tox, Belladona, and Arnica!”

• Also, nightly diarrheas with very offensive smell respond well to Arnica with offensive eructation and flatus. Stools are usually mixed with blood with soreness of anus.

• During pregnancy, Arnica is one of the chief drugs to be thought of when the pregnant lady is overtly sensitive to carrying her fetus within her womb. Uterus, abdominal viscera and surrounding organs feel bruised and movements of the fetus worsen the soreness. After long labor, when the woman has dribbling urination, Arnica is one of the amazing drugs. Usually associated with coldness of the body with hot head.

Ankylosing Spondylitis and Homeopathic Management
Joining or stiffening of the vertebrae is termed as ankylosing spondylitis in short. It results in inflammation of vertebral bones of spine. Degeneration of spine, pain, loss of motility are some of the problems that crop up in a person suffering from AS. Though in majority of patients, we see degenerative changes in the spine, there are also many cases where AS has affected the hip joints.

Causative factors of AS-

(1) Idiopathic- that means the exact cause still remains unknown.
(2) Autoimmune- Various studies and evidences point to the fact that ankylosing spondylitis is an autoimmune disease.
(3) Hereditary- Though definite evidence is lacking, many studies suggest that positive family history makes the person more vulnerable to develop AS.

Signs and Symptoms of Ankylosing Spondylitis-

(1) Usually the onset of development of pain and motility affections is insidious.
(2) Gradually pain and stiffness in back, buttock region, hips, etc develops
(3) Undue fatigue is many times presenting symptom in these patients.
(4) Usually the patient complains of morning stiffness that gets better ad the day advances or once he begins moving around
(5) Weight loss has been observed
(6) Anorexia, malaise, etc can develop with more and more stiffening
(7) One can elicit tenderness over the sacro-iliac joint
(8) Restricted movements over the period of time
(9) Patient walks with bent back
(10) Chest expansion limited
(11) Rigidity of spine and joints results in curved spine gradually if left unattended
(12) Rarely in very advanced cases, aortic incompetence due to valvular calcification and recurrent respiratory (chest) infections are noticed
(13) On X-ray spine, one can see narrowing of joint space, haziness of joint margins, and eroded and sclerosed margins.
(14) In unattended cases, one can see ossification of intervetebral discs, squaring of vertebrae, bridging of joint cavity, and new bone formation.

Homeopathic Management of Ankylosing Spondylitis-

As we have seen earlier, homeopathy is an individualistic and holistic science. It acts wonderfully in patients of AS, especially when they are considered as unique individuals with characteristic signs and symptoms. Treating ankylosing spondylitis just on the basis of common signs and symptoms of the disease homeopathically is a disaster. In this treatment module, you might get some initial relief of symptoms but as no long term goal is set, the symptoms will most probably relapse, perhaps with much more intensity.

That’s why it is must to consider the totality of symptoms in every individual and treat accordingly. No wonder many stalwart homeopaths discourage the use of patent homeopathic remedies for treating ankylosing spondylitis. The patents usually contain group of remedies thought to be useful for AS. However, this certainly does not go along the lines of homeopathic principle. And unless homeopathic treatment is given along the lines of its principle, it will not give desired results. Therefore, complete history of the patient should be taken including the important causative factors behind his problem, his mental sphere of looking at the disease and otherwise, and then the treatment should be started depending upon the totality.

Obviously, for acute pain management, a homeopath might need a few remedies to look into, during the course of constitutional therapy. Here is a list of important remedies one should remember while treating AS-

1. Calcarea phos-
- Rheumatic pains in neck and lumbar region
- Dullness of head brought on by slight drought of air
- Right to left pain in neck, crampy variety
- Least effort brings on backache
- Upper back pain associated with sharp pains in sacrum and coccyx

- Stitching pains between hips
- Coccyx painful as after a carriage ride
- Painful to pressure
- Weak, paralytic pain in back, lumbar region
- Curvature of vertebrae
- Nervous, irritable patients with pale face, lax muscles
- Tendency to catch cold that stiffens the back too but warmth causes burning in back
- Lots of sweating
- Deficient nutrition
- Worse by draft of cold air, change of moon, night, mental exertion, checked foot sweat
- Better by warm wraps, profuse urination

3. Rhus tox-

Imagery Treatment cures Malignant tumors
A lady had developed three carcinogenic tumors on the right side of her neck which was as hard as a stone. Doctors had asked her to undergo chemotherapy. She belonged to a poor family which could not afford it.
She approached me. I taped out a 20-minute suggestion.
She was asked to put on the taped suggestion while lying on bed and perceive what the sound suggested and try to feel the same to be happening in her body. She was expected to do this thrice a day. After doing this for a month, the lumps became soft. Two months later, their sizes decreased and by the end the 5th month they had completely vanished !

Care of the Eye Prosthesis
Care of the Eye Prosthesis
DAILY ROUTINE:
The morning routine for hygiene care begins with a thorough hand scrub including the fingertips.  A warm wet face cloth with a 'no more tears' baby shampoo is then applied to the eyelids since they are normally crusted with secretion. (This shampoo has a neutral pH and will not sting to the socket tissue or the fellow eye, plus it destroys bacteria.) The warm wet face cloth will soften the secretion allowing you to remove it by wiping inward toward the nose. (Do not wipe outward, because this could rotate the prosthesis out of position, or cause it to fall out of the cavity.)
Following removal, the prosthesis should be cleaned before insertion. Never clean the prosthesis with a cloth, abrasive soap, or toothpaste. The prosthesis is best cleaned with a mild soap or baby shampoo, with wet hands; gently wash the prosthesis between soappy fingers. All soap must be rinsed from the prosthesis and hands before reinsertion of the prosthesis. As the prosthesis is made of an acrylic plastic, it should never be soaked in alcohol, gasoline or bleach. Do not attempt to sterilize the prosthesis in an autoclave. In the office prosthesis can be disinfected in a cold sterilization media such as Cidex (manufactured by Surgikos Johnson & Johnson Co.)
SURFACE CLEANING OF THE PROSTHESIS AND EYE LIDS:
Excessive mucous secretions can occur when wearing an ocular prosthesis. Conditions such as head colds, winds dust, allergies and dirty hands can cause considerable secretion. Regular rinsing of the prosthesis with an ophthalmic irrigation solution can cause usually dislodged any surface deposits.
Proper Care of Artificial Eyes
Most eye physicians are of the opinion that artificial eyes can be worn continually and need only be removed for cleaning purposes. However, the eye physician should be consulted in each particular case.

For cleansing the artificial eye we recommend water and a mild soap, or any prescription that may be recommended by an individual doctor for the purpose of cleaning the eye. In the case of plastic eyes, the use of alcohol or other chemicals should not be employed in washing or cleaning the eye.

Infants and Children
Infants and children require special attention and should have their artificial eyes checked at regular intervals. Usually a larger eye should be fitted each year to induce stretching of the lids and development of the socket. If this is not done, further growth may be restricted and future results impaired.

Details in Fitting Artificial Eyes
There are so many details to be considered in fitting an artificial eye that too much attention should not be placed on one particular facet. Rather the artificial eye should be judged for its overall effect.

Many wearers insist on the artificial eye being as large as the natural eye. This is not wise since quite often a large eye produces a "stare", giving a very unpleasant effect. A discriminating eye wearer should guard against this possibility. It is better to have an eye a little smaller rather than larger so that the lids may properly cover the eye. Then, instead of attracting attention, the artificial eye will be unnoticed, and the maximum amount of movement will be secured.

It is preferable to be fitted with an artificial eye that produces a pleasing effect rather than one which is an "exact match." By varying the size of the iris or pupil the technician can often obtain a more desirable result. While an exact duplication of the iris color is important, size, shape, position, size of the iris, color of sclera (white portion of the eye) and the veining all combine to produce an effect that is truly life-like.

Correct pupil size for the individual patient is sometimes difficult to determine. The pupil dilates and contracts according to lighting conditions, and for most patients a medium size is the most desirable. However, some artificial eye wearers have very active pupils with considerable dilation or they have extremely light-colored irises, which drawn attention to the contrast between the pupil size of the artificial eye and the natural eye. For these patients we recommend a "night" eye, which is an extra eye with a larger pupil to be used for night wear.

CONSULTING THE OCULARIST:
There is no definite answer as to how long the prosthesis will last. Unlike the old style glass prosthesis, modern plastic prosthesis are durable and will not break. They can be polished when they become pitted or scratched. Plastic Prosthesis can be increased or reduced in size as required by changes in the design of the anophthalmic socket.
Changes in the socket occur from fat atrophy in the deep orbit and growth development in children. It is recommend the adult patient to be seen yearly and children every six months for a check of the condition and fit of the ocular prosthesis.
CONSULTING THE OPHTHALMOLOGIST:
The patient is encouraged to keep all follow-up appointment prescribed by the ophthalmologist. In addition, condition such as chronic discolored secretion, pain, or socket bleeding must be immediately brought to the attention to ophthalmologist.

HOMEOPATHY for Urticaria
Urticaria is not a very pleasant thing to have. patients are taking long allopathy treatment with steroids and all and when they come up to homeopath for it we have perfect treatment plan for it

LETS SEE what it is

URTICARIA
Synonyam
Nettle rash; Hives ; Weals.
Definition
Urticaria is a commonly seen clinical condition where there is a transient eruption of raised and circumscribed erythematous or oedematous swellings of the superficial dermis, associated with itching
There are a variety of its clinical variants seen, two of which are:
· Angioedema (angioneurotic oedema, giant urticaria, Quinke’s oedema) Consists of transient swellings in the deeper dermal, subcutaneous and Submucosal tissues. Urticaria and angioedema often occur together and for practical purposes are similar processes. However, the form of pure angioedema that is caused by CI esterase inhibitor deficiency shows some differences clinically and in response to treatment.
Systemic anaphylaxis is an acute life- threatening condition induced by an IgE- medicated allergic reaction. It consists of a combination of symptoms and signs including diffuse erythema, pruritus, urticaria, angioedema, hypotension and cardiac arrhythmias. A similar clinical picture from non- allergic causes is called a systemic anaphylactoid reaction.
Classification & Etiology
Urticaria can be broadly classified in terms of ‘duration’ or its ‘trigger factors’.
1. In terms of duration, Urticaria can be divided into acute and chronic forms. Acute Urticaria is usually self- limited and the weals commonly resolve within 24 hours, but may last up to 4- 6 weeks. In chronic urticaria the weals continue daily or on most days for longer than 6 weeks. Acute urticarias are more common in young adults of both sexes, whereas chronic urticarias are more commonly seen in women, in their fourth or fifth decades. A cause or trigger factor can be easily found in acute urticaria, as compared to the chronic form.

2. When classified in terms of trigger factors, it can be divided into:

a. Nonimmunologic or nonallergic or ordinary urticaria:

These are caused by degranulation of mast cells and hista-mine release by mechanisms not involving antigen- anti- body reaction. The most commonly seen causative factors of nonallergic urticaria are:

* Drugs: Anesthetics, angiotensin converting enzyme in- hibitors, aspirin and other non- steroidal anti- inflammatory drugs, codeine, morphine, penicillin, cephalospor-ins, sulfonamides and other antibiotics, diuretics, iodides, bromides, quinine, vancomycin, isoniazid and antiepileptic agents.

* Food: Chocolates, eggs, fish milk and products, nuts, pork, shellfish, strawberries, tomato, and yeast.

* Food additives: Hydroxybenzoates, salicylates, sulhites, and tartrazine.

* Inhalants: Animal danders, grass pollens, house dust, mould spores, new perfumes.

* Infections: Pharyngitis, gastrointestinal, genitourinary, respiratory, fungal (e.g., scabies), HIV and parasitic infections (e.g., ascaris, strongyloides, schistosoma, and trichinella).

* Systemic disorders: Amyloidosis, carcinoma, hyperthy- roidism, lymphoma, polycythemia vera, polymyositis, rheumatic arthritis (RA), and SLE

* Physical: Cold, exercise, friction, perspiration, pressure, and sunlight.

* Miscellaneous: Contact with nickel (e.g., cheap jewelry, jean stud buttons), latex, nail polish or rubber (e.g., gloves and elastic bands); emotional or physical stress; pregnancy (usually occurs in last trimester and typically resolves spontaneously soon after delivery); and recent use of new clothes, creams, detergents, or lotions.

b. Immunlogic or allergic or idiopathic or autoimmune urticaria: Genes

tend to play a role in a few urticarial conditions, where a strong personal or

family history of atopic disorders can usually be found. Angioedema and a

few rare urticarial variants can be of a hereditary type occurring due to a

CI esterase inhibitor deficiency.

Clinical Features

The urticarial lesions begins as itchy erythematous macules, which develop into weals consisting of pale-pink or red, oedematous, raised skin areas, of varying shapes and sizes, often with a surrounding flare. These usually transient and migratory lesions can form linear, annular (circular) or actuate (serpiginous) patterns, and can occur anywhere on the body in variable numbers. These wheals are generally very itchy, especially at night, but the patients tend to usually rub the part, rather than scratch and thus these lesions resolve leaving a normal skin surface, without any excoriation marks. In a number of cases, these weals are seen to get worse in the evenings or nights and also usually before menses. Urticarial vasculitis should be suspected if the lesions last for more than 24 hours.

Half the cases of urticaria are associated with angioedema, where large, non-pruritic or slightly itchy, non-pitting, pale or pink, diffuse swellings occur, especially on the face, affecting the eyelids, lips, tongue, pharynx and larynx, hands, feet, genitalia, ears, and neck. These lesions may last for several days.

In a few cases urticaria or angioedema can be associated with systemic symptoms like malaise, fever, headache, dizziness, nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, diarrhea, arthralgia, feeling of a lump in the throat, hoarseness, wheezing, shortness of breath, and syncope, and in its most severe acute from with anaphylaxis.

Diagnosis

Specific laboratory studies are not generally indicated. Instead a detailed personal and family case history is taken in suspected clinical cases, especially as regards to pervious attacks, and an attempt made to find out the trigger factors, through in more than half the cases no particular cause can be traced.

In few cases a fluoroimmunoassay may help in detection of food allergies undetected by routine examination and testing.

Differential Diagnosis

* Anaphylaxis.
* Erythema multiforme.

Treatment

Education on avoidance of the suspected offending allergen is essential.

In cases of angioedema or anahylaxis, timely emergency care needs to be taken in a hospital setting, with checking of vital statistics and checking for air flow in the respiratory passage, and if needed administering oxygen. In a few cases, intubation or even tracheostomy may be required, where there is laryngeal obstruction due to angioedema.

Homeopathic Approach to Urticaria

Homeopathy has maximum scope in the above condition, as modern medicine has nothing more to offer other than antihistaminics.

The following pattern should be observed most meticulously whilst treating the patient:

* Confirm whether the lesions fits into urticarial rash. The typical lesion should include a rosy – red, erythematous macule with edematous weals. The erythema fades on pressure.
* Time of aggravation. I have found a night aggravation more common.
* Dose urticaria alternate with any other complaint? Especially asthma or rheumatism.
* Always ask whether urticaria is preceded by any other symptoms like nausea, chill, menses, etc.
* Inquire as to which season the patients develops urticaria and at what temperature e.g. hot room, cold room, open air, near the seashore, etc.
* The most important factor that helps us to eliminate majority of the drugs is the patient’s feeling of wellbeing after an application of heat or cold.
* Try and find out which particular foodstuff aggravates the condition, especially shellfish, sweets, meat, chocolates, etc.
* Has the patient got any emotional stress?
* I have seen many patients of urticaria who have a history of worm infestation. Therefore one should inquire for any history of worms. Also history of insects bites or contact with any plants or ingestion of drugs like penicillin or salicylates.
* Sometimes physical factors especially exposure to sun, excessive physical exertion and exercise lead to urticaria.

All the above should be thoroughly scrutinized to get the maximum data. In very rare cases, patient may develop swelling of face with laryngeal obstruction. At that time the patient should be shifted to a homeopathic hospital and his airway should be kept clear with endotracheal intubation and oral drugs like chlorum, etc. should be administered

The treatment consists of not only giving the indicated homeopathic drugs, but to eliminate the offending agent e.g. eliminative diet, withdrawal of causative drug, treatment of parasitic infection, correction of the existing physical stress. During an acute attack the patient should be kept on a bland diet- alcohol, tea and coffee are preferably avoided. Finally reassurance should be given to the patients who have chronic urticaria.

TUG OF WAR
Some say that if an individual improves then gradually the family, the society and the whole universe would improve. Hence individual purification is most important.

Some others say that if we improve the system, then automatically the whole universe, mankind, society and the individual would improve. Hence the purification of the system is most important.

This is really a tug of war!

The individual can be “purified” if the system improves; because he/she lives within the system and in accordance with the system. Conversely the system has to be “purified”, only if the individuals at the helm of the affairs of the system are “purified”.

Infinite purification or shall we say blossoming; of an individual in spite of the system is theoretically possible but only in an exceptional individuals. Conversely; systemic purification conducive to a large majority of people is theoretically possible only if there is an exceptionally rare leadership is at the helm of the affairs.

Since these are remote possibilities; today the pursuit of individual blossoming has to be combined with universal blossoming through simultaneous process of individual and systemic purification or shall we say rectification.

Thus we have to set the goal of immortal bliss for an individual on the one hand; and simultaneously make policies, plans and programs so as to fulfill the needs of all the age groups, races and religions; throughout the day, throughout the life, in all the seasons, in all the regions; for universal blossoming.
This is called total stress management, total well being, holistic health, superliving or holistic renaissance.

This simultaneous process of individual and universal blossoming can be realized by helping ourselves and the others; to orient to the true selves. The orientation to the true selves; is akin to the focus of all the instrumentalists and vocalists on the music director; thereby achieving; soul stirring and most fulfilling harmony, melody and rhythm!

We can help ourselves and the others to such orientation to the true selves; through the practice and propagation of NAMASMARAN.

In absence of this; the individual emancipation is bound to remain a self deception; and the universal welfare; an unending mirage!

Delight of Unity
Many of us are convinced that NAMASMARAN is an activity that takes us from subjectivity to objectivity. It takes us to the root and seed of universe. It is a panacea for individual and universal problems.

However many of us question about its uniqueness, supremacy; and its insistence and generalization.

Thus; some of us maintain that we need not insist on NAMASMARAN because; there are many people who do not practice NAMASMARAN; yet serve the universe in different ways e.g. through scientific and technological research and social service.

It is true that the creative geniuses in different fields contribute to the universal blossoming without practicing NAMASMARAN. But do these people reach the root cause of the individual and universal problems or rather; the root of universe?

The hallmark of most of these people is either superficial contentment or delirium of material gains; or dissatisfaction and depression; at the end of their life.

Some of us refer to the other ways of self realization. They are doubtful about; which position to take about these ways with respect to NAMASMARAN.

It is true that many people practice many ways other than NAMASMARAN and claim the merit of these ways.

For those of us who are convinced about NAMASMARAN and its scope and potential; it is fair to practice NAMASMARAN steadfastly and share the vision, conviction and/or experiences during our practice; with others.

But this can be best done without being critical about the other ways, about which they have no experience. But suffice it to feel and express that ultimately all ways converge to the same goal of universal harmony and eternal reality.

Scope of Namasmaran

One of the simple reasons for this is; when we get oriented to our true selves we begin to get freed from the shackles of the stranglehold of our passions, lust, desires, ideas, beliefs, notions, dogmas and so on, which are often pursued at the cost of others.
